I was very impressed with the food, service and atmosphere especially after having had rude employees and not so good food many years ago. The fish was absolutely delicious as were the chicken fajitas. The horchata was the best I’ve ever had and the soda was refilled. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful as was every employee and the owner. The atmosphere was lovely and there is plenty of parking in the back lot. I highly recommend this restaurant now and look forward to going back.

This is an OUTSTANDING Mexican restaurant. Top quality ingredients with fantastic preparation. Honestly, this is the BEST Mexican restaurant I know of. I love their Chicken Enchiladas Verdes but try your favorite dish. The wait staff are casual, attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is more pleasant and attractive than the typical Mexican restaurant. The chips and salsa is even a step above. A+++++

Incredible food! I love the Latin flair that they bring to their food. The flavor profiles are incredible. I have had numerous items, including their shrimp nachos drizzled with chorizo and cheese. I always enjoy sharing with friends and family when I run across a place with great food. The service has been great and the owner always greets me when I come in. A great family atmosphere.

I stopped into Señor Tomas Mexican in Hartland—one of the oldest Mexican restaurants in the state—and was blown away. I ordered the carne asada tacos, and they were absolutely packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and served with fresh onion and cilantro.
After chatting with the owner (who was incredibly friendly and passionate about his food), he encouraged me to try a taco he’s considering adding to the menu. Let me just say—it needs to be added. Bold, flavorful, and topped with a bit of guac, it was the kind of bite that makes you pause and appreciate real, authentic cooking.
The food, the atmosphere, and the genuine hospitality all make Señor Tomas a must-visit. I’ll absolutely be back.

Some of the best chicken mole I’ve had in this area! Our grandson had a chimichanga that was very unique- he loves chimichangas and he thought this one had the best flavor. It was a signature dish. Our granddaughter even got fresh oranges with her kiddy meal. Grandkiddos loved their horchatas. We will definitely be back with the family.

Nice place 🙂 Came with my boyfriend and there wasn’t anyone else in the restaurant. I was nervous at first, but they had music playing and the staff didn’t breathe down our necks or anything, so we had a lovely meal. The food was really good and everyone we encountered was friendly! I’d recommend.

I had Eva’s apple salad. It was greens and red bell peppers and almonds and chopped apple with THE MOST delicious apple cider vinegar dressing. On the owner’s advice, I chose the crispy breaded chicken breast rather than the grilled. Let me tell you, the meat was so tender, the delicate crunch of the pepper and the apple, and the sweet tang of the dressing, they all came together perfectly! I could eat this every day!

We went here the other day after having a bad experience years ago and hoping things had improved since then. This experience was even worse. Our server was rude and argued with us about many things, or told us “that’s just how it is.” My husband’s drink was made incorrectly and upon telling the server it was made with the completely wrong mixer his response was “I was told it was good.” No offer to remake the drink. My blended margarita had huge chunks of full ice cubes in it and tasted horrible. My kids ordered a virgin margarita and we were charged the same price for it as the real margarita with alcohol in it which is ridiculous. The food was not good either. Even the chips and salsa were terrible. We had hoped it would be good being so close to home but I guess we will have to go to one of the many other Mexican restaurants in the area that have quality food, drinks, and service.

I am not able to comment on the food or atmosphere because the gentleman on the phone never gave me the opportunity to have lunch/dinner. I called prior to walking in to see if they are familiar with gluten allergies. He told me he doesn’t have any allergies. I said OK let me rephrase this. “Do you know how to prepare food for somebody who has gluten allergies” and he responded back with “well next time ask the right questions because that is not what you asked me”. I was appalled at his rudeness and I will never frequent this place based on that alone.

My waitress was the sweetest person ever and the manager was very friendly. The food came out fast and was delicious. The atmosphere was amazing. I definitely recommend giving Señor Tomas a try!
