Not much to say about Taco Bueno. It is what it is. It’s average, fast, relatively tasty Tex-Mex. The employees are fairly cordial and polite. Atmosphere wise, it’s a McDonald’s except Mexican food. The thing that gets me; right next to the great value 3 items for $6 is the 22 oz beverage for $2.99. Three dollars for a DRINK. Drinks are already a huge profit generator, but that’s double the price for comparable places to eat. My wife hasn’t been able to stop me from drinking sugar drinks when I’m out, but if this keeps up, maybe the fast food industry can.

My husband and I haven’t been to taco bueno in years and I was reminded why. I’m giving the service a 1 star because of the manager. When I called to let them know that some of my order was missing but it was ok that I can come back and grab it, she was silent so I was thinking, ok maybe she’s gonna check with the crew to make sure I was telling the truth so maybe she was about to put me on hold. NO! SHE STRAIGHT UP HUNG UP ON ME! Look, I know it’s just Taco Bueno, but I’ve been in the Hospitality industry for many many years and have been a manager at that but these days, I’ve grown to see more and more that nobody cares no more and are rude for their own personal reasons that should be left at the door because if the company isn’t making money, then how are you going to make money. I’m talking to a brick wall at this point.

I ordered a beef nachos salad with the chips on the side. When I arrived home there was no meat!! I called and called with no answer. I stopped by the location to speak with the manager Oscar, to maybe think he would want to, “make it rigjt.” I even showed him the picture I took that shows,no meat. He didn’t even look at the picture . Said no, I put meat on it. Bad management. Poor customer service. Do better!!

Food was just warm. Ordered a chicken chilada platter. With water and tax the meal was over $9. Not worth it. The place is undergoing some repairs and part of the ceiling was ripped out and stuff hanging out of the ceiling. Place wasn’t very clean. In fact it was kinda gross. I sat staring out the window looking at Burger Street kicking myself for not going there instead.

I ordered two Big Freak’n tacos, no lettuce, what I received was two lettuce tacos with nothing but lettuce and a tiny bit of meat. Every time I go to this place, I wait several months before trying them again because I love Taco Bueno but this location is ridiculously inept, they never get my order correct and they always skim on the ingredients, unless it’s lettuce that you didn’t ask for. If I ever go back, I will definitely check my food before I leave.

It’s always amazing when you find a place bet within walking in the door and greeting the cashier you know you made a bad mistake.. not only was a cashier rude he found it funny that he couldn’t be understood due to a heavy accent. Then to top it all off the foods kind of thrown together I ordered a chicken bowl and notice the photo and there’s barely any chicken nor does it look like the photo and the advertisement. All in all should have stopped in know better go home eat healthy.

Ordered bean burritos, paid for them and received the party sized ones or they’re just skimpy with the ingredients but I would hate to see the party one then…. You should go to Applebee’s and have a meal for the same price!!!

Ordered 7 grilled roll ups. 4 chicken and 3 beef. I only received 6.The food was not prepared correctly. Hardly ANY MEAT in the grilled roll ups.The ONE time I didn’t get a receipt is the major mess up time for this Taco Beano. I feel the situation was not handled professionally.
