The people complaining on here about political signs and bland food must have destroyed their taste buds licking too many salty boots.

Politics – it takes a lot of courage to take a stand against hate in a red county during these times. Kudos. Much appreciated.

Food – the burnt end pork belly bites were perfect. Crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. The juicy Italian sausage had just the right amount of heat, and the brisket was tender but slightly dry. The sauces were delicious. Hubby especially liked the mustard forward sauce!

The sides – amazing. The greens were perfectly tart and not mushy. Mac and cheese was creamy and tasty, and the delicious chicken corn chowder had a touch of heat that we both loved. The cornbread – chef’s kiss.

Service – the guys working were friendly, professional, and attentive. What more could you ask for?

We had heard good things about Qs. However, we were a bit nervous when we walked in at 5pm on a Friday to a completely empty restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly, and we ordered ribs, pork belly burnt ends, pulled pork, brisket, Mac n cheese, beans, corn bread, and a pulled pork sandwich. With a few Faygos to wash it down. Wanted to basically try all the smoked meats.
We sat out back, and the staff brought out our meal quickly.
We popped open the containers, and my first impression was that it looked a bit dry. We dove in and pigged out
The smoked meats were delicious, the ribs and burnt ends that looked dry were moist and full of flavor. The brisket bark was absolutely delicious. The mac n cheese was like mom used to make. The only criticism I would have is that the cornbread was dry, and the beans were just not my liking.
I have tried BBQ all over the country, and this was a standout

This little smoked barbecue spot in **Ludington, Michigan** is an absolute must every time we visit—so much so that we plan at least *two days* around getting barbecue! It’s that good.

The flavors are incredible—some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had. But here’s the deal: they have specific hours and often **sell out**, so plan accordingly. Don’t wait until dinner time or you might show up to find the doors closed and the smoker empty (trust me, it’s heartbreaking).

We usually grab our food to-go and enjoy it at the beach or at a nearby picnic spot, but they also offer indoor seating if you prefer to stay. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, make this place a priority when you’re in town.

**Bonus for gluten-free folks:** they offer a **gluten-free barbecue sauce**—just be sure to ask when ordering to get the right one.

Pro tip: pick up your food earlier in the day and stash it in your cooler or fridge if needed—you won’t regret it!

We had the best catering experience for our wedding with Q ! They showed up on time with delicious hot food that exceeded our expectations! The guests raved about the food ( mac and cheese and pulled chicken was the biggest hit)and all the sauces.
Thank you all so much!

We live in town and have tried this place 3 times. I wish we could give it a better review. The food is just so expensive for what you get. They always seem to be out of things like brisket and their sides are just ok. They do have some good queso and homemade chips but again, it’s really expensive for such a small portion. On a side note, they can’t seem to decide if they are a restaurant or a political mouthpiece. While we were eating outside, we watched several people walk up, read the political posters on the front door, and walk away. But they seem to do well, so they must have a good following.

Looks nothing like the photo online. They forgot the peanuts and hardly put any vegetables, green onion and cilantro. First time ordering this spicy sweet noodle bowl. Very disappointed, it was a to go order. Staff were nice and the place was clean.

Didn’t think it could get much worse than when they opened, but tried it again and I was wrong. The special “Q sauce” is the absolute worst thing everyone in my group ever tasted. The bbq is basically cooked, not traditionally smoked, could hardly chew the brisket. The sweet potatoes could be poured through a screen, No idea how this place is still in business. A true disgrace to bbq. Save your money folks and STAY CLEAR!

Food was delicious and hot! Love the atmosphere. Situated in quaint downtown Ludington, this building is remodeled and has an upscale, smokehouse feel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food service was fast! I ordered the brisket, blue cheese and bacon potato salad, baked beans, and added a wedge of corn bread. Came out to around $14. Good value for the portions that filled me up! Three house BBQ sauces were available too for your choosing.

Just order the macaroni and cheese! You can thank me later.
Quickly greeted and was directed to menus. A surprisingly large number of menu offerings are crossed out with black marker. Ordered pork belly burnt tips and macaroni and cheese. The wait time was almost nothing.
Macaroni and cheese hit the spot!! The burnt tips were ok.
The staff here is very friendly. Restaurant is very clean with numerous art work for sale covering the walls. The food is ok.
