We decided to try this place because there aren’t many sushi places in San Gabriel. Typically we have to go to Pasadena, but this one here is pretty close to home so why not. Didn’t expect much and the place wasn’t that crowded. However the food was quite good. The fish was really fresh. The mixed tempura was good. They gave us enough of the tempura dipping sauce which I like. Other places will skimp on that. I do wish they offered teriyaki chicken and beef, but there’s a decent variety of rolls. The menu could be improved with descriptions of the rolls.
I always order the spider roll at sushi spots and this was no exception. It was priced relatively low compared to the other rolls and I saw why when I got it. Not much crab. I’d rather pay a few dollars more to get a regular spider roll. I suppose in this environment the owners are doing what they can to keep the prices in check.
Despite these minor things, it’s a great spot and we’ll definitely be back.

By far some of the freshest sushi I’ve had in a while. Service is great price is unbeatable in this area. Love that it’s such an inconspicuous place.

Came here on a Sunday night at 6p to dine-in, and it wasn’t busy at all. Smaller crowds started rolling in 30min later. Fish tastes fresh, and their specialty rolls are yummy! I got the Tiger Roll, Yellow Fever Roll, Spider Roll, and the Spicy Tuna Crispy. I’ll be coming back here to try some other ones on the menu!

Ordered Baked Salmon Roll and did a Yelp check-in for gyoza! It’s delicious!! Its very different from baked salmon elsewhere in a good way. The avocado tastes so fresh. the takeout includes a menu which is great! They know you will be coming back again soon and reaching for the menu in your drawer. I liked how they had a clean and used pen cups on the table.

This is a nice San Gabriel sushi place and had their 6pcs “Chef’s Choice” Sushi & Spicy Tuna Handroll Combo and it was delicious! They are only open for dinner right now but they have easy phone-in takeout ordering, friendly staff and free parking in lot.

They got me with their fatty foods!!! The yellowtail collar was so yummy but also so fatty (in a good way for me). I noticed there were 3 shrimps not 2 in the fried tempura. The sashimi fish tasted very fresh compared to other sushi places. Perhaps because they do not have all you can eat, my party agreed it was quality over quantity. It was like it melted in our mouths!
Service was very friendly and prompt. Could have been the holidays but we were only 1 of 3 parties there.
Sanitation looked good and felt good.

I just ordered this for to go and I’ve been meaning to try it for a while. Amazing sushi! The fish was soft and fresh, the rolls were warm because they were freshly made & some places just refrigerate their rolls. Definitely coming back!!
