Ive been a loyal customer to sams on harlem since the 1st date i ever had in late 70 (78-79) when mike an maria ran it from its openin. I married my wife while in 10th grade an have been with her till today 43 yrs later. Ive shared anniversaries, birthdays, date nites an many other important days with sams pizza. True loyal customer.
Tnite i ordered a simple chef salad with my sandwhich but what i got was an italian salad or antipasto, aka italian chopped salad. Ive included close up pics. Big difference. Also my wife ordered a soup which never got. I pd 57.00 plus 10.00 tip an all i got that i would eat is my italian beef. Being a loyal customer, but also still hungery i called an asked to speak to manager. I explain my situation an get little response so i say im not complaining nor asking my meal comped but salad is way wrong. I was then told im speaking with chef sal, also the manager an what i got was an is what he considers a chef salad. I disagreed. Then he does what i consider customer/chef relationship suicide an says” hey lets get to the point here i dont got time to aurgue what is or isnt correct. What do you expect me to do you want a free salad ill send my guy right now. I say can we do tommorro its not nessasry to rush out tonite. His response? Im here now not tommorro so what do you wanna do im busy.. i said ok send the salad now an he hangs up as i try to say how this has become…..i didnt get to finish until now. 1st that WASNT a chef salad an the 2nd attempt was weak at best. But that isnt what got me. Your attitude sal is what got me. Your to busy? Im wastin your time? When you use to clean tables an vaccum the place up i thought what a hustler look at him go. When you went to culunary chef school i thought what a good focused head on tgaf young man. Tonite…i thought, im gonna miss that place. So many memories, dates anniversaries…a life time of experiances that end tonite with your attitude young man. Thats not how your dad would have done it an never did he. In a few poorly choose sentances made by you tonite a 40 plus yr loyal customer puts the lids on both those salads an closes the doors into your resturant by me an my wife for good. I can accept a mistake but i refuse to accept a bad attitude. IF WASNT A DAMN CHEF SALAD SAL !!! An i never got my soup still. You got a bit if growing up to do young man. Im sure im not the first or last to feel this. Compassion…i coulda used. But attitude? No room for it. My wife wants me to be fair an tell that her meal was on point. Fyi this whole rant is 100% about being short an uncaring about my comments . Do better next time sal….that reputation of that store deserves that much.

Saltiest food we’ve ever experienced. Sam’s never let us down until recent order at 9:54pm online. We got a statement that our take-out order would be ready by 10:19pm waited until 10:37pm. Wouldn’t be here to complaints if food weren’t salty. And now I’m a bit salty for paying for something that I feel it didn’t worth its price as far as food quality. Circle

Ordered pizza, salad & tortillini tonight. OMGOSH-it was horrible to the point we could only eat the salad. It was so so salty. IDK what happened but we use to frequent there often but no we won’t being going back. Unless you really really like salty pizza , I HIGHLY DON’T RECOMMEND going there. It definitely wasn’t the Sam’s we use to frequent. Pizza is absolutely awful !

An amazing place to have an event! I had both of my baby showers there, and Sal & Brigit were absolutely the BEST! The Food was amazing! We did pizza and a salad at one, and wraps and the berry salad at the other. Sal & Brigit accommodated so nicely and were there the whole event to make sure everything was running good! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We even took home a Togo pizza and salad after both events! Favorite pizza!

We had an event here on 8/23/25. Sal and team were amazing. The banquet room was perfect for our event with around 100-120 people attending. Food was amazing and the Party was a major success. Everyone I spoke to loved the food and thought the banquet space was very elegant and set up nicely. We had a bit more people attend than we anticipated, but Sal jumped in and added another table and increased the seating available to accommodate. I highly recommend for your next event and it will be on our short list for any future events we need to hold.

Sam’s hosted my baby shower. The owners were wonderful and accommodating. The space was spacious, clean and modern. They had a space for us to set up a balloon arch (pictured). Everyone loved the food. The summer salad was a big hit! I’m still thinking about it.

We had never eaten here before, and we decided to order 2 pizzas dine in. One was a Joe’s pizza on a regular crust and the second one was an Uzzo’s thin crust cheese pizza. We loved the pizza, but it is the thin crust that will bring us back. Our server Amber was friendly, personable, and very attentive to our needs plus we had leftovers to take home! I would recommend this restaurant
