My favorite Indian buffet so far. At such affordable price ($19 excluding tax), they offer a great variety of food, ranging from entrees to dessert. Note that they only offer this during weekends (maybe Friday). The only thing preventing me from eating there every week is living far from the place.

The food and service at Everest were incredible. They told us it was under new ownership. We love good Indian cuisine and this place did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was delicious. It was BYOB as they were waiting for a liquor license under new ownership so we got our own wife at WholeFoods right around the corner. The service was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic dining experience! The Biryani at this restaurant is genuinely outstanding-richly flavored and perfectly cooked. The Veg Dumplings were equally impressive, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Beyond the delicious food, the superb hospitality made the visit truly memorable. Every staff member was welcoming, attentive, and clearly dedicated to top-tier service. This is a rare find: incredible cuisine paired with excellent customer care. Highly recommended!

Everest Biryani with garlic naan and steamed dumplings were outstanding! Flavors really popped (plus did spice level 8-very reasonable)! Service was great! Also, lots of food – good value. Will definitely come back!

What an exceptional experience. I visited the Mt. Everest restaurant for the first time. The food was divine. The Vegetable Samosas were so delicious! As was my hot spicy chicken curry. I highly recommend you visit this restaurant if you’ve not gone yet.

The greatest taste of Nepali food in Chicago. We started with chicken choila, a typical Nepali dish that goes well with any type of alcohol, they serve Mustang beer made in Nepal . Best combo. Usually choila is served cold but they served us the hot choila and it was just great, we loved it. The taste was on point.

For two of us we then had chicken momos which tasted great, reminded us of back home Nepal. Great job chef ‍ ‍ . Momo were juicy, and .

For our main course, we had goat curry and paratha. Curry comes with Jasmin rice and you should order paratha or nan on the side that goes well with the curry. The curry we requested for a medium spicy and it was perfect for us. You can ask your spicy preference; don’t be shy, they can customize spicy level based on your tolerance.

All in all best service by Binod who made sure everything went well. Best food, good job kitchen team and the space itself is tidy and nice, has enough natural lighting from the windows and walls has some paintings that reflects Nepal which we loved it.

The restroom is at downstairs and has a stair or elevator for ADA compliance. The restroom looked nice and clean.

Was excited for the return of the buffet….was disappointed that all the dishes were lack luster.

The variety is still there but not nearly as tasty as pre-covid.

And the rice pudding tasted so odd.

The naan is still pretty good.
