Chinese Chef’s is a smaller buffet than the typical american Chinese buffet. However, the fare that is on offer is much higher quality because there is less of it. I have not been disappointed with anything I have had there, most of it being very good. I would not recommend the ice cream out if the soft serve machine based on my last experience. Too crystalline. Other than the ice cream, everything else is great!

The staff is always polite and friendly. In a town where we don’t know many, we’re always made to feel welcomed and engage in conversation. In the 20 years we’ve been going, we’ve never had a bad meal. Their fried chicken is the best in town.

Fantastic Food, Better service. Had the envie for some really good chinese food lately and this place exceeded expectations. We got 2 plates to go off of the buffet (yes they do currently have a buffet). The staff will serve your plate with whatever you want, and they will stuff more into that styrofoam container than you could ever imagine. I hope everyone supports this resturant as I would hate to see them close. Eat here and you will not be dissapointed!!

NOT like Chinese Chef in Mathews. Just about all dishes were sugary and glazed and cool. Very disappointing. I found out why the crab Rangoon was called ‘ragoon’, whatever that is. Can NO RESTAURANT in the bayou region offer good, fresh Chinese food?!!!

So disgusting! Came to eat a quick bite with friends because one is pregnant and craving Chinese. Found a hair in the shrimp/pork wonton! Waiter said it probably was an eyelash that got in while preparing the food.
