They have a great lunch special, $19.95 for the vegetarian option, which comes with an appetizer, an entree, nann, daal, and rice. My lentil soup and chana masala were more spiced than I usually get at an Indian restaurant in the city – it tasted homemade.

The service was great as well. They were attentive and accommodating to what I needed.

Regarding the bathroom, you are able to wash your hands in the back past the kitchen.

I would come again for sure.

I came here because my credit card was giving rewards to dine here. It was my first time. The restaurant was small and only had a few tables. I’m guessing that’s way I was the only table until I finished tonight. Most and many people order takeout. The decorations were nice and homey.

I ordered samosa for appetizers, and lamb Saagwala, and a garlic naan.

I think the samosas were a bit expensive, but it was pretty good. The outside was light and crispy. The mashed and seasoned potatoes inside were very flavorful. It wasn’t greasy at all. I also like the sauce came with the meal, especially the green one!

The lamb saagwala was so delicious! The lamb was almost fork tender. The spinach sauce was so well seasoned. It was not spicy at all. I did bite into some kind of spice, but it wasn’t overpowering. It was like a nice and gentle surprise.

The garlic naan was so great! It was nice and fluffy. The garlic on top wasn’t too strong and was too spicy, which was my type of naan. I didn’t have bad breath after eating it. By the way, the rice was so nice and fluffy, too! It goes really well with the curry.

The service was nice, but I guess because I was the only table it was actually kinda awkward to have someone constantly watching me eat. I was thinking the portion was kind of small when my meal arrived, but after finishing everything, I guess the portion was okay. Since I don’t like to bring leftover home anyways. However, for the price, I do think the portion should be larger. In addition, everything is more expensive than the menu I found online. Overall, it was a standard Indian restaurant. I’d like to come back and try something else.

Great lunch special. For just over $20, I got a decent sized potato samosa, lentil soup, lamb saag, and fresh naan and rice. Plenty flavorful, and a bit spicy for someone with very low tolerance like me.

The space is tight but comfortable — maybe 5 or 6 small tables. Don’t expect to bring a big group here. The decor and ambiance is sparing, but warm — not fine dining, but great for a casual meal to stay. I came not long after opening for an early lunch by myself, and was happy to dine in and take my time.

Service was friendly, and kept my water cup full. I will definitely come back here for a convenient fix to my Indian cravings.

We ordered a bunch of appetizers which are pretty yummy. Would recommend the mix vegetable fritter. The cauliflower bites and shrimp are not bad either. The lamb has a strong Lamb smell, watch out if you are not used to it. The chicken meat balls are ok. Overall it’s really good!

Ordered here today for the first time and unfortunately was disappointed by the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and garlic naan. The naan was doughy in spots almost like it was undercooked. The masala and butter chicken were more tomatoey than a balance or mix of flavors. We won’t be ordering here again.

Food was below average for the price. It was either somewhat flavorless or doesn’t taste like Indian food (ex. Chicken had no spice and chicken tikka masala tasted like tomato paste). The workers were super nice though!

This is probably the restaurant that I repeated the most here in NYC. My husband and I used to live close by but even after we moved to another neighborhood, we still go back. The environment is super simple – but don’t get fooled for that. The staff is super nice and the food… is delicious. We love Indian food and this place offer a lot of options. My order is always the same: fish curry. It’s super creamy and with a lot of spices. We always get the Garlic naan as well. The samosas are also a must. Also, the best part: lunch special everyday, 50% off from 11 am to 2:45 pm
