Great experience! Desiree was very welcoming behind the counter. New owners are extremely nice and asked how everything was tasting during my dine in visit. Food was great! Highly recommend the Cherry Coke and Lisa’s homemade chicken salad.
While visiting there have patience and please be kind. They’ve been working hard to accommodate long lines and perfecting the menu. This place has been a gem for many years and I know they will continue to keep the legacy going.

I had to call and speak to the manager at lunch. I asked for a hamburger with easy mayo and mustard. When I opened the container it was beyond extra mayo. It was soup like. My fries were undercooked as well! The mac n cheese tasted like it was kraft from the microwave! The grilled cheese was great and so was the banana shake. The manager replace the burger and fries as I requested. The new burger was disappointing. Very bland and cafeteria food like. The fries were better than the first batch but not what I would order again. I hope they improve the food. Just a disappointing lunch due to having to return to get the food and the quality. Should have been done right the first time. I also feel for the quality of food way over priced!

Customer service is good. Clean restaurant. The bathroom needs to have a baby changing station for moms. Food is good. But they need to go back to air frying the French fries they taste better that way.

Food is decent, service is usually good but I’ve heard some complain about relaunch struggles but what’s the point of hating on that? Most important to me is the atmosphere and history of this place. Happy Jack’s has been around since I was a kid (70s 80s?) and while I won’t claim to be a regular there, I love the longevity and nostalgia and for that reason alone I hope they continue to thrive under new ownership!

Happy Jack’s is no longer what it once was. While the restaurant still gives off a similar appearance, the service and food quality have noticeably declined. Ordering takes a long time, followed by even longer wait times—coming here on a lunch break could be difficult.
Cleanliness is also a concern. While picking up my food at the counter, I watched an employee washing dishes drop one on the floor, then pick it up and place it back with the clean dishes.
On top of that, I witnessed a customer waiting quite a while just to get ice cream while a group of employees stood around the food area instead of helping. Overall, it was simply poor customer service.
I’m certain the kinks will be worked out with time, but as it stands right now, I probably won’t be back.

I know they just reopened under a new owner but it seems they are not yet set up properly. They had numerous issues with their ordering screens and organization with their staff. They did not have French fries due to some issue. The staff was struggling to have any organization and kept apologizing for all the confusion. It took them 16 min to fill my dine in order of a beef sandwich chips ( no fries) and a drink. I was there for 33 minutes total and it was like that for EVERY customer.
Close, work out your ordering issues while getting the staff up to speed on serving and filling orders with some confidence. I’ll try again in a few months but was highly shocked and disappointed in the confusion. We need a place like this in this town to succeed and hope the owners take this seriously and get some sort of organization or sad to say they will not get repeat customers.

I’ve gone here since I was 2!!!! My family and I treat ourselves to this amazing place once every year or so. I love this place! And the owner is so friendly!

Employees are very nice. Food was not so good. Very very pricy for crunchy bread, tasteless beef, and overly salted fries. 14.41 for drink fries sandwhich. Cute decor. Needs to vent better. Grill smoke in the dining area. Shake was good but almost 8$!!

The atmosphere was awesome it has a 50’s dinner vibe going for it. Food was good I was pretty basic and got a turkey sub, the meat and veggies were great the bread was a super hard crust but the inside was soft. It was not old bread just harder and slightly chewy. I will go back again.
