What reeled me in to this place were the banners and the large glass walls. The interior was clean, but the lady behind the counter didn’t want to really talk to us. We asked a few questions but only got an answer to one, and the checkout process, although seamless, was awkward. When she put the receipt in the bag I asked if everything was good to go but she walked away.

No worries, we came here for the food. We walked home and was able to eat the food while it was still hot (everything came out fresh). Needless to say the portion sizes are good, although the food was quite bland. The orange chicken was nice and crispy, the noodles were large and had nothing really going on for them. The BBQ chicken was good on the spice level but brought back down with how dry it was. The broccoli beef was the juiciest of our entrees, but it was 80% broccoli.

Overall, my experience fell short across the board outside of the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was worth trying, but I will think twice about returning.

I was very excited to try China King, and was left quite disappointed. Initially, the service was quite bad. The attendant was very rude and dismissive and it felt like I had to fight for attention, despite being one of the very few customers. Especially when considering the price, the food wasn’t great. I got the BBQ Chicken, Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef and Chow Mein. Both of the chicken entrees and the chow mein were very dense and had a heavy/deep oily flavor that over powered any of the other flavors, which lead to a very disappointing homogenous consistency in the flavor of the plate. The broccoli tasted very old, and the beef was quite flavorless, but not terribly bad. Though the food wasn’t bad, it was far from good. The portions were decently sized, and we’re probably enough to feed two.
The restaurant itself was quite clean, and had a several nice tables. The ambience was great, with a well-lit dining area and a dtraight-forward layout. There were plenty of parking spots in the lot nearby.

Great chowmein. The bbq pork is fantastic. Orange chicken is great too. My wife loved the cream cheese wontons.

Just your regular takeout place. They do have one vegan (tofu and eggplant) option on the steam table which is rare to find. But they have plenty of vegan options ala carte. I got the combo with lo mein and eggplant tofu and it was average. There was no taste of any sauce on the eggplant. Lo mein was good and contained 75% of my box. The box size is smaller than other Chinese places but the prices are less as well so it’s good overall.

My first time here and I was excited to try it because of some of the favorable reviews, I was very disappointed, I have had better at other places, I ordered the barbecue chicken, chowmein and mushroom chicken, and an egg roll, the mushroom chicken was very bland, and the egg rolls are very thin and didn’t taste great, just ordinary, the barbecue chicken was overly saucy and oily, the rice was bland. I didn’t bother finishing it

Foods amazing, great prices and portions, even if it could smell weird in the place or countertop be sticky, if your giving it 1 star over that, grow up.

It’s definitely not what it used to be, I remember before the Portion so large you could barley close lid, now it’s just not the same. Wasn’t hot barley warm noddles and meats, the bbq pork was very tuff.

Pretty decent Chinese food spot. 2 item plate is 10.99 plus tax. Inside was cleaner than I thought it would be. The surrounding area is a little rough. Lots of homeless people.

Most Chinese fast food restaurants are not consistently busy and their food sits under the heat lamps for a long time. This place is consistently busy which means their food is always fresh and their portions are big!!! They have the best Orange chicken!!!

First and last time here. The food is horrible, chowmein had a funky taste and kung pao was more vegetables than meat. Literally only 2 or 3 pieces of meat. Ended up throwing it away.
