It was very cold in there. The sever wasn’t attentive at all. I ordered the steak meal and when I received it the beans were very watery and the juice was all over my rice and steak. I asked the lady if she could replate my food because the beans were very watery and was told no. Thats very poor customer service. Who would even plate food that way? Why not put the beans in a separate bowl. The steak wasnt too bad just a bit chewy. I see why we’re the only table here. I will not be back!

Service is usually slow here so be patient. Our server today wasn’t attentive. Iced Tea came too strong and we mentioned it. No reaction?
More on the food, this was the first time I’ve seen fajitas with no beans included. And for some reason the chicken was covered in melted cheese – not like in the past.

The Food was Truly amazing. Very tasty and flavored with meticulous preparation. I admire the health conscious approach since there wasn’t too much oil used to cook dishes (vegetables, etc). The vegetables were carefully cooked maintaining its Freshness and flavor. The fish burrito and fish tacos were exceptionally fresh and satisfying. The beans with my shrimp faitas were authentic and well done. There was one noticeable unpleasantness, that of the wait time for my meal and lack of updates from waitress. I must acknowledge and mention in all fairness, it was a Friday evening dinner hour. I suggest more or equal attention be paid to in dining customers as those who do take out and utilize delivery services. Overall great food and high recommendation for the restaurant.

Quaint little place we literally stumbled across. The inside was fully booked for a party that was going on inside. They were really busy so we just stayed for an appetizer as we couldn’t wait too long. It was nice enough. The chips and salsa was really delicious. Will definitely go again to try other things

Great little Mexican restaurant. Decided to try it since we were in the area and saw the previous reviews. So glad we did. Great authentic mexican food. I got the tortilla soup and the torta cubana. The soup was good – just the right amount of tangy spice, not too spicy. The torta sandwich was awesome – large sandwich and absolutely delicious. I’ve never had anything like it and will be coming back for it. My wife had the fiesta Mexicana platter and that was great too. Large portions, served hot and tasty. Wish they were closer to us, but we will be back for breakfast – I have to try the huevos rancheros!

Update:. This place is great.
I’ve ate at a lot of Mexican food places and this is a great place to check out.
A few things I’d say could be improved:
1. Responsiveness of service, there was so many people the staff was overwhelmed by the number of people. A good problem to have, but a bad one of not accounted for. (Busy Sundays happen). Hope you gotta find some extra help to give you a hand when it’s busy.
2. The Pastor was a little dry but was fine otherwise.

Always in search of good Local Restaurants
Jaunita’s looks like a women empowered local business!
The vibe was good and food was homely ♥️
Ambiance & Service-
The ambiance is colorful. The restaurant was full. The service was a bit slow.
Food –
Very delicious and amazing food
Appetizers: They served complimentary nachos and salsa. The red salsa was delicious but the green salsa was not good. We ordered jalapeño poppers – they were tatsy and very cheesy.
Entrees –
Chicken tacos – very tasty, nicely flavored chicken.
Special Chile Relleno – the mole sauce was amazing, perfectly spiced and cooked.
We wanted to try the flan but they were out of it and were cooking fresh for next day.
Will definitely visit again!

This place is amazing! Small place, but well decorated, only mentioned so people do not plan large group outings for this spot. Restaurant is a Victorian style house in a cool little town. Food is better than what we have in Northern California. Great place, great food, great vibes. I highly recommend!

Heard many, many good things about Juanita’s. While in the area it was a no-brainer to try. Went on a Saturday night and was concerned about parking and a long wait. Neither were an issue. Plenty of street parking. I was even able to park in a small lot on the opposite side of the streets. The food was authentic. I had the beef burrito. No complaints at all, however nothing stood out that much. Also no sides come with almost all of the main entrees so you’ll have to order one for extra. Fast and friendly service. Wouldn’t come back to the area specifically for Juanita’s, but would happily have dinner again if in the area.
