Apparently this place is the reason UFOs go so far out of their way to visit. La Salsa is worth stopping in Roswell even if you’re just passing through! The restaurant is embedded in a mall but they have a separate entrance and open at 7 a.m. I got breakfast – two eggs with bacon, hash browns, tortilla and pancakes. Truly spectacular – eggs cooked exactly like I asked, bacon was crispy, pancakes were fluffy, hash browns were a style I’m not used to but very delicious, tortilla was huge and definitely homemade. They even threw in a yummy sopapilla. I asked them to smother the eggs and hash browns in red chili sauce, which was perfect. They have a condiment bar with about a dozen items, most of them salsas. I got the blackened jalapenos and onions that had been marinated in a soy sauce based marinade. Never had that before but it was wonderful. Staff was friendly. Bathroom spotless.

I would put the whole experience here as ok. There are other places in town that are better than this. Got the carne asada plate. Was good. Salsa was thin but had some heat and flavor. The problem was the final bill. 36 for this I could have went to a different restaurant and paid half that for the same meal.

They have a salsa bar! We had a yummy breakfast. Biscuits and gravy with egg and hashbrowns is what I had. The Carne asada was delicious. So was the shrimp ceviche! They also have a bowl of menudo. Prices are reasonable, especially when you see the plate you get! You can also get a sopapilla with or without cinnamon.

First time coming here and it was really good. My dad kept saying let’s go let’s go, so we went. Wasn’t disappointed. Green chile chicken enchiladas. They were just spicey enough and cooked fresh because I kept burning my tongue eating them up! My dad also said burgers were big and delicious as well, guess I’ll have to go back and try it next time!

I wanted to try a burrito from New Mexico since I am here for a short while and their menu really is Heavens paradise for a person who loves meat
I asked if they could substitute the mest for a veggie burrito and it was no problem. I added potatoes, green peppers, tomatoes, onions, sour cream, cheese and smothered salsa. That burrito was soooooo good and fulfilling/heavy that it ended up being lunch and dinner.

Ordered a chimichanga and what I got was a burrito. Asked desk if I was wrong in assuming chimichangas are supposed to be fried. They said yes! Did a google search and I was (not surprisingly) correct.
Don’t say chimichanga if you don’t deep fry it. First and last visit here
