I really don’t like to write reviews but this was the most horrible experience I had. I ordered a chicken chow mein , when I received my order the chicken chow mein was bland had no sauce. I always order this so I know how it’s supposed to be. Had no salt, taste and no sauce, then I complained. They told me that is the way it supposed to be and that it doesn’t have salt. I was like what no salt he said only it has water and starch. I couldn’t believe it , then he said that they can give extra sauce . I was not happy at all.. very disappointed.

I’m a frequent cx ,for the most part I have a great experience usually .Today is Christmas, and unfortunately the service was not as great as I expected. Called in was told it would be about 45 mins before my order would be ready . I was understanding bc of the holiday when I picked up my order let’s just say I’m underwhelmed. The presentation wasn’t great, food just thrown into the container , and the worse of it , it seems like I was plated a half eaten chicken wing . I won’t be eating here for a while .

Stopped by to get lunch (dine-in). Ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan lunch specials and it comes with egg roll and fried rice. The moo goo gai pan itself was good and the egg roll is decent. The fried rice tasted like rice mixed with soy sauce and not properly fried nor mixed. Definitely recommend regular steamed/white rice instead. Friendly staff and quick service.

I got general tso, vegetable lo mein and an egg roll. All of the food was extremely bland and mushy like it had been sitting for an hour or so. My girlfriend got the steamed dumplings and hot and sour soup and says they were good. Pretty bad overall.

We ordered to go teriyaki chicken, crab Rangoon, beef and broccoli with white rice, and fried rice. They gave us the wrong chicken sauce (not teriyaki) and some random chicken entree dish with fried rice (no beef and broccoli or white rice). I called and told the person whom we spoke to about the situation and this person just said “mmm hmmm” AND THEN A LONG SILENCE and then said “I’m sorry” and then silence again. No offer to remake or refund.
Our food order ticket was with the food so we know we didn’t get the wrong order and it wasn’t busy so that wasn’t an excuse either.
I can’t imagine how this place is still in business. The food we did get was just ok….do not recommend.

I want to start off by saying YUCK! I have ordered from this location for over two years and have never gotten such DISGUSTING FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered from Beyond Menu online, a dish that I haven’t tried before. I google, shrimp Chow Mein, and its a noodle dish. The order arrives to me and its this wet, undercooked shrimp and vegetables dish that I can’t consume. I’m the only person at work so I call and ask if I can bring the order back myself and receive a refund. The woman on the phone says the call Beyond Menu and they should handle it. Long story short, Beyond Menu couldn’t do anything for me and asked for resolution from the restaurant. When I call back to ask for the GM or Owners contact information(because I have worked for a franchise before, the owners contact information is always available)the young lady has a attitude and hangs up. Don’t order from this place if you aren’t confident in their food because they will not fix any problems they have caused. Worst experience I have ever had at this location. As I Said before, I have worked in the restaurant and catering business for nearly 8 years and that’s simply not how you handle a customers complaint.

Pulled up to Fortune Cookie Chinese Restaurant right before closing, and they still delivered fresh, hot, flavorful food like it was the middle of the day. I ordered the fried wings chopped up with honey sauce over fried rice, and it hit the spot — crispy, saucy, and perfectly seasoned.
Honestly, the flavor was better than a lot of Chinese food I’ve had in NYC — and that’s saying something. You can tell they put care into every plate, no shortcuts.
Great service, generous portions, and food that speaks for itself. Definitely a hidden gem — I’ll be back!
