Reviews
If flavor were illegal, Sushi Hiro would be doing hard time.
We just left Sushi Hiro in Henderson and I’m convinced we experienced spiritual enlightenment disguised as dinner. Every single bite hit like it had something to prove. Not one weak link. Not one “meh.” Just straight culinary domination.
The 007 roll? Smooth, dangerous, and licensed to thrill. It showed up, handled business, and left no crumbs.
The lobster roll? Absolutely disrespectful. Buttery. Rich. Criminally addictive. I would sign paperwork committing to it long term.
Service was flawless — attentive without hovering, friendly without forcing it. The kind of staff that makes you feel like you’re the VIP without making it weird.
We didn’t eat dinner.
We attended a seafood masterclass.
If you’re in Henderson and you’re not eating here, I’m not mad at you… just disappointed.
We’ll be back. Possibly too often.
Overall a lovely experience. Would definitely return!
The only downside was near the end of my meal. As I was finishing my course and only had dessert left, one of the servers did point out that I reached the end of my course and I had dessert left then proceeded to reached in and took my plates without asking or saying “excuse me.” It felt a bit rude in the moment, though it didn’t significantly affect my overall experience.
The homemade cheesecake soufflé was good, but I would have appreciated another dessert option, such as ice cream or something chocolate-based. That’s more a matter of personal preference than a complaint.
Overall, it was a solid experience and I enjoyed the omakase.
Our server was incredibly patient and great throughout the night – we stayed for a while.
The sushi was very good – especially the Mexican something roll!
The atmosphere was low key and vibing. I’d love to bring my brother next…
Food:
Shrimp Tempura
Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice
Glass of Red Wine
The Tempura was lightly battered and tasted amazing. The ahi was fresh and I enjoyed the crispy rice.
I’ll definitely return again.
Servers and runners were very helpful (and respectful) with food allergies with sauces. Even upon exit, the owner made sure a Japanese toy with candy was given to my daughter. I’m very happy we went out to Sushi Hiro and will be back again soon.
As a local personal trainer and nutrition coach, it’s great to have staple restaurants that align with your fitness goals. I definitely recommend Sushi Hiro to my clients, and want to extend the recommendation publicly.
