Definitely up there with the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, the pastor and carne asada was amazing seasoned good just like authentic Mexican style, salsa was good very flavorful the hot orange one is very spicy for all the spicy lovers . Good job Amy’s imma have to come down here more and recommend it to others along my way. Also very nice staff checking on me made sure my drink was always full and to check if everything was good . Multiple times . All around was a good experience.

I don’t often review or rate a place unless it truly deserves it, and Amy’s absolutely deserves every star there is.

First off, a place is only truly a wonderful place if the people and the atmosphere are centered on their values and genuine. The food is ALWAYS the last consideration. The people and their hearts are always the first and most important.

Amy, Gracie, and their restaurant truly exhibit among the highest respect of these tenets that I have experienced in quite some time.

Now that isn’t to say the food is not wonderful too. I’ve taste tested food all around the world and can confidently say their options are delicious, handmade, and full of heart and commitment. It very much reminded me of Japan with the same level of quality and satiety of the dishes having been achieved.

That is a rarity in America and they have pulled it off with their food level, as well as their personal commitment to their patrons.

Secondly, I would like to take a moment to personally speak of Amy and her daughter Gracie. They both work diligently together and with their team to deliver the quality I would expect from a finer dining establishment in Tokyo.

And I absolutely have to speak about their hearts! That intentional and genuine care and appreciation for everyone who walks through their door is real. And Gracie’s energy is absolutely wonderful and so well appreciated. It’s not easy to find someone with such a positive and outgoing and loving spirit these days with all the world spinning out of control, but she absolutely crushes everything.

She was such a wonderful soul to meet and the both of us appreciate her so very much. We were standing there sharing picture of our kimonos and adventures through the world together and that excitement was a wonderful to relive and see in her eyes and heart.

I really cannot understate how much Amy, her team, and her family deserve my highest recommendation for the quality of their hearts and the atmosphere of positivity and goodness they’ve worked to craft.

Finally, I do have to take a moment to speak of the food. It was absolutely wonderful. Out of a 100, I have to rate it easily in the mid to high 90s. All handmade and authentic, the burritos were masterfully done and extremely generous in size, and the satiety level of each dish and drink was max level. The meat was perfectly cooked to melt along the tongue and the sauces easily complemented the dishes. There is so much more I could describe in regard to the sweetness and the umami flavor notes present, especially in the refried beans. This was a wonderful and delicious surprise. I would certainly recommend only one burrito at a time; they are enormous, but highly worthwhile.

All around absolutely stellar. I will absolutely be stopping here every chance I pass through into the future. Both for the good food, but above all for the great people.

I would absolutely recommend Amy’s to everyone living or traveling through Victorville into the future.

Typical Mexican fare. My enchilada and tamale plate was quite satisfying though! And the margaritas were fine.

One of the BEST mexican resturants in the High Desert! The best chips and salsa compared to anywhere else. The service is always quick and friendly. Can’t beat the pricing for the quality of food you get!

Originally from ELA and after almost 5 year in the HD moved to Apple Valley. Didn’t go to Amy’s because of the name – not a smart move. Finally did, very smart move. My mom was a restaurant cook (RIP) and I can tell you, this would be her favorite place – their beans and Spanish rice is always, I mean, always on point. And they have the best chili verde I’ve ever had. From cooks to waitstaff to owner, family owned, all professional and I’ve yet to have one bad thing – they even have deep fried ice cream! Their food is the highlight of my parties. Wish I’d stopped by when I first came up… it’s hands down the most authentic casero (home) style Mexican food.
