When at the Halifax casino and you get hungry you may as well go to the place that saves you the most money.
The space is beautiful but if it is not busy it lacks atmosphere.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Food was delicious, filling, and prepared quickly.
Not a bad place to try.

I dined at May Garden on New Year’s Day with friends, and it was a fantastic experience. We ordered Combo 9, 3, and 8, and all the dishes came out hot and freshly made. We also ordered cocktails to the meal, which gave it a refreshing touch. On top of that, the servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel well cared for throughout. It was a perfect way to start the year!

I noticed some of the plates and utensils were not clean. A bit oily which seems like they were not washed well. Also happened multiple times that parts of the menu is not available because the chef that knows how to make them is away or not in, and thats not a few dishes, more like whole sections of their menu. The server and staff were nice and food was okay.

We went to dine in at may garden today and wanted to have some fruity mocktail so the server was generous enough to make me one even though its not on the menu and the food was delicious and tempting. Overall experience was awesome and will definitely recommend this place to have super good Chinese food around halifax.

I had the Cantonese Chow Mei and it was exceptionally oily (greasy). It was so hot throughout that it had to have been microwaved. The flavor was very bland to the point that that I couldn’t finish my meal. For my wife’s hamburger they could not even provide mustard which she requested at the start. When mentioned to the staff nothing was followed up by management. Overall would never recommend this location at all.

The restaurant is airy and beautifully decorated. The wait staff are well trained and very helpful. One young lady showed me where the washroom was as its not in the restaurant. The food was excellent and hot.

Went as a Party of 6 for a 40th Birthday. I arrived about 15 min after the others. They ordered appetizers and they came out about 5 min after I arrived, no big deal. I ordered two egg rolls they came about 7 min later. At this time waitress took everyones order. The food came out a bit later and mine wasn’t there I just figured it was coming as I arrived later, even though we all ordered together. It never did arrive. The waitress never did come back to see how everyones food was till everyone was almost done and fill water glasses. When asked about my meal she said she didn’t have one. Then she came back and said oh don’t worry you weren’t charged on your bill for it. Then said we can make now and I said no as everyone else was almost done. Then comes with the Bill for the Eggrolls which were not even fresh and said if I wanted to wait I could place my order now and take home. I told her no thanks I’m not paying to take home food that should have come when ordered. Terrible Service never checked on table once and when she came to fill water glasses never asked anyone how everything was very unfriendly.

On New Year’s Day, I ordered thru Uber, $91.00 worth of food and not 5 minutes later I had to cancel the order due to banking error, than re-ordered the same order thru Uber again. They not only refused me my refund for the first order, the second order took over 30 minutes to get here and the egg rolls were cold and the rest was barely warm. I tracked the uber driver on the app and he went all the way into Rockingham in Bedford with my food before he delivered mine just up the road from May Garden and he had his whole family in the car with him. I understand uber is not the restaurant problem but to chat the me almost $100 for canceling the food not even 5 minutes after I placed it is the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. Needless to say I will not be returning and I will let others know.
