The pork taco combo plate is pretty good, most of the time. This is one of those places where the quality depends on who is working. Not consistent whatsoever.
Now the reason I’m writing this… I am a little mad. I decided to get chips and salsa side order. You would expect a Mexican restaurant to make their own chips, wouldn’t you. I would.
Nope. Tostitos. I paid $3 for a handful of TOSTITOS. Did they really think no one would notice, store bought chips??? Holy heck I am not going back, how disappointing. Queen Anne deserves a real taco shop!!
Overall, the food was just okay and the value seemed questionable.
The Chicken Fajita Burrito ($15) was the best item—fresh and large—though it was mostly fillers (rice, beans, onions), making the price seem steep. The asada and adobado tacos ($4 each) were decent but nothing special.
The low points were the others: The chicken tamale was dry and clearly microwaved. The worst item was the rolled tacos, which were deep-fried but served cold with salad and cheese on top. They should have been reheated or, ideally, fried to order.
Wife and I each ordered a burritos and the total came out to over $40. My chicken burrito consisted of shredded chicken and canned peppers, nothing more. The best I can say is that it was a big burrito and provided two meals worth of food.
They’ve raised the prices, and the burrito isn’t as large anymore, but it’s still a good meal to treat yourself to every once in a while.

YES!!! Unlike much of Seattle, this place is Affordable and reasonably priced because the quality is an A+ in addition to the amount you receive. Ordered a Carne Asada Burrito and y’all, YES. Well seasoned, Freshly made and nice portion. Didnt feel corporate. Will be my new go to spot for Mexican food.
2022 update, no more free chips and salsa but the portion and price is still unmatched, two tacos for ~$7 will leave you full. The freshness of ingredients of great but it lacks in the flavor department. Also tortillas are not made in-house.
Seating is very limited though
