My Wife and I were on the hunt for a place to get some yummy ice-cream. My wife had found this place and it dawned on me I had came about 8 years ago. Looking at some of the reviews it was definitely a bit of a shock but we figured for old times sake we’d give it a chance. We showed up and were assisted by Christina and she was super friendly! Most ice-cream spots like this you aren’t met by the most personable people but she was lovely. We decided to get the hot fudge cake and I’m not exaggerating when I say this but it may be the best hot fudge cake we’ve ever had. It definitely puts Frisches to shame! She also let us know they’re under new management (Christina and her sister) which makes sense as there’s definitely more character and love in the service. I’d 100% recommend you give them a visit and form your own opinion. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

It was ok young folk are running the inside today. The kids that ordered icecream cones did not eat their entire icecreams threw it away after a few licks..not sure why. Normally its loaded with people here it was fairly busy when I arrived. The footlong was odd colored. Barely had onion or chilli or mustard but had lots of cheese. I did the same as those kids and trashed it.. Slushy was ok not much of a blueberry taste..i might givem another shot. Then maybe not. Not too friendly for a goodyshop

It was good, It’s been years since I have been here. Don’t do “dairy bars / ice cream stands” very often actually, but, it’s the first day of Spring! I like the portions at the Mt. Healthy Dairy Bar just down the road for the same money. 040724 stopped today for a medium chocolate sundae, it’s $5 & very good. 092725 Mt Healthy Dairy Bar already closed for the season, Goody Shop closes tomorrow. Limited menu selections today, that is understandable.

I’ve come here every summer since I was 3 or 4. Now I come here every year as an adult. I always get a chocolate flurry with m&m. My fiance got a brownie sundae.
I came here in the evening but if it was the afternoon I would have gotten the footlong cheese coney for lunch. Absolutely love coming here for a taste of nostalgia.

If yall want ice cream PLEASE go to Mt. Healthy Dairy Bar. If it’s a farther drive for you it’s so worth it trust me. I got a medium chocolate ice cream in a cup from here for $5 and it looked like a junior size! You get double the portions for the same price at the dairy bar. Don’t waste your time. Customer service was nice but not worth the portion sizes.

I used to love the goody shop but after the other day never again!!! I ordered a soft pretzel and they let this go through the window! DISGUSTING. I don’t care if it’s an ice cream place this is UNACCEPTABLE! After going back to request a refund I was very upset with how I was treated at the window. I asked to speak with a manager (which her name is Sue) and a girl named Jaiden at the window was like I am right here with the biggest attitude so we proceeded to tell her that she served us a moldy pretzel which she had nothing to say about. Someone in the back of their store yells no it’s not there lying which if you can see from the picture why would I lie. She did give me a full refund but Again go there at your own risk but after this I am GOOD..

I love the variety the menu has. Staff is polite. Desserts and food is reasonably priced and delicious. I recommend to stop by, you and the kids and enjoy!

Just left the goody shop with my grandkids. Worse experience, truly the most expensive ice cream around and the cotton candy soft serve was like water in a cup. $4 for an inch of it in a cup and had to throw it away. My 8 year old hated it. Go to Dairy Queen or any where else

Saw God at The Goody Shop. Got helped right away, all my questions were answered in a respectful manner, the staff was very grateful for any tip, food came out fast, clean picnic tables, delicious ice cream, big portions for very reasonable prices. Only regret is I didn’t order more. Next time I’m in town, I’ll be back.
