Went to this little hole in the wall place at Quakertown flea market because the bf and I were in the mood for something sweet.. let me tell you our tastebuds were taken back to grandmas kitchen when he had the wet bottom shoo fly pie, and I the fried blueberry pie. The blueberry pie was hot inside, the pie crust was flakey and delicious, the blueberries were sweet and plump.. it was the best. With a nice hot cup of tea it was perfect. The prices seemed slightly high to me until I tasted everything– its well worth the price!! Now the shoofly, was sugary and I could really taste the molasses– I’ve had many slices of shoofly in my life, and this was by far the best. They have a nice little sitting area to enjoy your food too. If you see this place, don’t skip out! I plan on tasting there boova shankels next time I come here for dinner.
Sincerely,
A very pleased and full customer

I love pierogies so I had to check this place out. The boova shankel was very tasty. The roast beef and turkey gravies paired well with it. Love that they have new specials every week! Planning to go back for more boova shankel and to try that rice pudding. The man working at the time was very friendly.

Ended up getting something to eat here because my pregnant stepdaughter was getting hungry and nauseous while we were at Qmart. I didn’t expect much and was incredibly surprised! The 2 guys working here were so incredibly nice and attentive. The food was so delicious! Between the three of us we actually ordered quite a variety of things. Everything was really good. The soups were so good that we actually took four quarts home with us to eat at home. We will definitely go back soon. Cheesesteak and chicken Cheesesteak sandwiches were also awesome.

This food is so homey and good. After having it once, we have found ourselves coming back out to the market just to eat here. The boova are fantastic. The chicken bot boi soup is perfection on a cold day. Can’t recommend enough

Awesome homemade food. Tried the boovashenkel (first time), and it was delicious! Will definitely go back to try the other varieties! Husband had a cheese steak and fries. May have been the best and cheesiest that we’ve ever had (and we get cheese steaks often). The fries were fresh with a nice crispiness. Rice pudding was to die for! Food came out piping hot which was an unexpected bonus. Honestly can not say enough good things about this spot.

Small Dutch restaurant in the Quakertown Farmers Market. My husband love Dutch foods so we built the day around eating here. He had The classic Boova Schenkel w Turkey and I had Meatloaf. We started with corn fritters which were perfection. And OMG you have to save room for the Fried Strawberry pie!! My husband brought home the Chicken Bot Bol soup and I had to have a couple of the Blondies for later. The service was great and the owners a real pleasure. Worth the trip over

I eat here almost every weekend, everything is made fresh and from scratch, the gentlemen who work there are so nice and accommodating! They truly keep the Pennsylvania Dutch spirit alive in everything they cook, AND my favorite part, it’s impeccably CLEAN!

I go to Boova Häus every weekend because I absolutely love their (better than) home-cooked PA Dutch style comfort food! Everyone there is incredibly nice and welcoming. Be sure that you are hungry when you visit, and don’t forget to order dessert!!!
