Wow! This is one of the best ever in an all day breakfast menu. The chicken sausage and Gouda cheese made my omelet pop and was enough for two people easily. The corn beef hash was tasty and the service was very attentive. This gem didn’t miss a beat!

This diner never disappoints. The food was delicious, classic diner comfort food done right, and the service was just as good. Our waitress AJ was fantastic super friendly, checked on us often, and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food and great service.

Chili is good if a touch sweet for my taste.
Garlic burger was great. Hand cut fries were excellent. Personally i would have liked some vinegar for them, but i am wierd like that and they did not have any.
Definately keeps the small-town diner feel.

Delicious diner door. Great service! I started with a side salad and a cup of chili, both were very good. I ordered the butter garlic burger with everything on it. It was delicious but I wanted more garlic flavor! My entire experience was positive and I will be back if I’m in the area.

My husband and I were passing through here on the way home from the eclipse, looking for lunch. I always look for diners in small towns, because I believe more often than not they will serve good, home cooked comfort food. Which is just what you need before a long ride home. Hovey’s perfectly fit that description and did not disappoint.
There was plenty of room in the restaurant, but we opted to sit at the window so we could take in the sight of the main street. There was a fairly steady influx of people coming in for lunch, so service was a little slow but nothing outrageous. My husband ordered the Country Fried Steak which came with two large pieces, accompanied by small bowls of mashed potatoes, coleslaw and gravy. Everything was very good, especially the coleslaw. My husband is a self-proclaimed coleslaw connoisseur, and he thought Hovey’s was the best he’s had in a while. He’s also not a big fan of gravy, but thought theirs was a great compliment to the steak, being rich and creamy and not overly seasoned. I decided to try the breaded Five Alarm Chicken sandwich, and thought that was delicious. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the pepper jack cheese, hot sauce and jalapenos were the perfect way to round it all out. Overall a savory sandwich with a nice kick.
If you stop in for a bite, head next door after your meal to visit Chilly Willy’s. Both places are a nice way to spend your stop in Olney.

I got Walley, it was 90% breading and mushy fish. I couldn’t taste the fish at all. I also got hair in my food (blonde) and the manager only takes $1.50 off per meal. I still paid over $9 for a meal I took 2 bites out of. We did tip, but we will not be back.

It was our first time at the diner, and Ashley made us feel right at home! She was so sweet with our little one even let him help order, which he thought was the coolest thing ever. The food was delicious, and the service made the whole night extra special. We’ll definitely be back!

I don’t mind tipping, but I didn’t realize an automatic gratuity was added to my takeout order until I reviewed my receipts later. This wasn’t explained at checkout. Clear disclosure upfront would improve the experience.

Rotary has our meetings there each Monday evening. Food is always delicious. Staff are beyond amazing- friendly, professional, and always willing to make our experience the best yet!! I would Highly recommend.

You can’t go wrong with Hovey’s! The food is always hot and the salads are delicious. My favs are the Cobb Salad and the Patty melt. Some of the best ice tea in town!
