Having travelled throughout Thailand, with a strong love of Thai food, I really wanted to write a good review of this restaurant.
The people were warm and welcoming and typically Thai . The atmosphere is nice, bathrooms clean, etc.
I was really hungry; as I saved my hunger for trying a new (to me) Thai place.
I had one of my favorite Thai dishes – Pad Sa Ew. It was not the best I’ve had Stateside; and it definitely is not as good as could be. The noodles were over cooked and kind of glumped together. The Carrot and Broccoli were not as crunchy and fresh as Thai dishes normally serve them. While the overall sauce flavor was satisfactory; there are other Thai restaurants I’ll order it at in the future.
I experienced a first today. My husband, who loves Thai more than I, threw out his leftovers! He always loves his Thai leftovers.
I don’t know what happened here. I assumed, based on reviews, that the food here is generally good.
With discretionary dollars highly guarded, I’ll go to the other restaurant when I need a Thai fix.
Also there was music that was loud.
For anyone reading this, it is a very nice place with Thai-friendly staff. I am very sorry I didn’t experience a good dish.

We were very skeptical because of the reviews but we are very thankful that we gave it a try. Our food was tasty and hot. The complementary spring rolls were yummy. Very nice atmosphere, clean and bright. I ordered yellow curry and my hubby ordered pineapple fried rice, that were both very good. We would highly recommend Thai Chaing Mai. PS they also have alcoholic beverages it that is something you might like.

Great experience from the atmosphere to the food! The decor is very calm and relaxing with dim lighting and light background music. This is some of the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. They even bring you a spring roll before your meal with was a nice treat

Very good flavors, nice atmosphere, and very friendly staff. They have live music if you like that. Nice bar area. Their portion size seemed to be a little bigger than average, which I like as a big eater. I definitely will go again. The owner brought over a spice selection and offered his guidance on adding heat and flavor, which was fun.
