I would highly recommend Passport for many reasons!

The staff have been incredibly hospitable, and friendly.

The food is so delicious, I love how the menu changes monthly. I will always have a reason to come back and try something new.

I use to be married to a Nigerian man and really have been craving the food! The Suya is spot on! And I love how the Suya and Jollof rice actually had the heat! Nigerian food can be very spicy and Passport made it happen. The meat pie has a lot of good flavor and less heat (spice). The meat pie dough is different but very delicious. It reminded me more of a buttery croissant!

Janel and Tatianna were my servers! They really made me feel like I was VIP! Janel even was willing to have small talk with me and gave me a warm hug goodbye.

I also had the please to meet the owner and have a chat with him! He was so fun to talk with and learn about his upcoming visions.

Keep rocking it crew! I’m hooked!

The staff & atmosphere at Passport were phenomenal! I didn’t care for the Red Curry, but the burger and fries were to die for. We also ordered a dairy free chocolate mousse to go for dessert – wow! Almost turned the car around to get another.

Just came here for the first time and the food was absolutely amazing, we ordered the veggie lasagna, and the spring roll salad. Service was great but it does take a little bit of time for you to get your food, I think because they make everything super fresh. The atmosphere is cute and cozy nestled in the old Brainard downtown area. A must go to spot.

Sage was great! We had an appetizer, 2 dinner entrees, and a dessert and all of it was delicious! We got the fried popcorn lobster for an appetizer and it was a perfect appetizer, not fishy and very tender. The chicken pesto tortellini was good but the Thai peanut stir fry was very good. The turtle cheesecake was made in house and was very delicious! Overall we had a wonderful experience at Sage and would definitely recommend dining here.

I have tried 3 times. I wanted love this place – we have needed something like this in the BLA for so long.
I appreciate what they’re trying to do, but it’s not working, and way too many corners are being cut. They are trying to produce international cuisine, using the food products typical of a low end American Diner.
Example: a warm winter salad with pecans aplles, etc.., but instead of spinach, arugula or kale they used romaine/iceberg. Choices like that across the board – where nearly all the supposed ethnic cuisine has been americanized (and poorly at that). Some redeeming qualities, but if you order 4 things, you get maybe one thing that felt like what you hoped/paid for.
Service is usually pretty decent though.

Wow! We worked with Passport on catering our teams annual retreat and they truly blew us away! Amazing food – we had a few dietary needs that were easily accommodated and we all loved everything we at! Plus reasonable pricing and above & beyond service! Thank you!

The food was absolutely phenomenal. While they were common dishes they each had their own riff, that made them both unique and very tasty. The extra veggies in the lasagna added a wonderful texture variety, and the chicken wild rice soup was absolutely out of this world. The garlic cheese curds were seasoned in such a way that garlic was an enhancement, and not the whole flavor, which was terrific. The raspberry emon drop was great, and they definitely did not skimp on the alcohol in it.

The wait staff did a phenomenal job paying attention to us, and was quick to refill waters and/or check to see if we needed anything. It was also the first time I wasn’t caught with food in my mouth when the wait staff came asked how the food was.

Overall a spectacular experience that I would recommend to anyone in the area!

I’ve visited on two separate occasions for out of town work. Top notch ingredients, and creative menu. The food tastes like the chef puts their soul into the cooking. I will definitely be back to try more dishes!

First time at this this little gem on Laurel I absolutely loved it! Nice atmosphere clean and some nice decor. They do have a patio with umbrellas for those you chose to enjoy the busy little street around them. Notice people of all ages, dress is come as you are. There was many things I need to go back and try but I enjoyed the blacken chicken salad. My friend had the Greek salad and we both enjoyed adult beverages would recommend to give it a try to others. Menu is not huge but enough to satisfy their customers. The waitstaff was super friendly and very polite, a great group of people!
