It appears they use frozen shrimp and the jumbo shrimp is butterflied but that’s precooked shrimp that’s then re-deep fried. The crab sticks were very crispy on the outside but mushy on the inside who I lets me know they’ve been double fried (reheated). The food has no flavor unless you use soy sauce. The egg foo young was something I tried for the first time anywhere and I guess you have to be a fan of it so I won’t rate that. I spent $45 and I just can’t see how the food has no flavor.

My husband and I ordered from here through dooddash @6:48pm the delivery came @7:02pm. The food could not have been freshly prepared and cooked, and it wasn’t. It was lukewarm, the chicken was very tough and chewy and the breading on the uncooked shrimp was not done at all it looked like wet flour. I called and the man thought he was going to play me, saying he was going to call back and handle the situation but of course he didn’t and that was fine because we got our money back from doordash and I of course knew I was going to do a review. Never again!!! This is not the first bad experience but we thought we would give them another try but we are definitely not going to order here ever again and my family and neighbor said the same thing.

My dad got the general tso’s chicken, bourbon chicken, fried chicken & lo mein.
It shows online your place is authentic but it kind of doesn’t taste like it.
The general tso’s chicken was hard, which is not supposed to be that way. We have had some real authentic & this wasn’t really it sad to say. It’s supposed to be nice & soft with a touch of spice.
The bourbon chicken was not bad so no complaints there.
The fried chicken had a really thick breading. And there’s not much of a complaint with the lo mein.
I’ve had plenty of general tso’s chicken & I feel this one could improve a bit hence the reason for 3 stars.

The food is great. But thst bourbon chicken is too salty. Lighten up on the salt and they will be perfect. The salt is taking away the flavor of the sauce. I had to take a break eating it because of that. But I did fishing it with my drink. So less salt and is

Best chinese food in Philly and this location specifically has the better taste. Shrimp fried rice the best I’ve tasted and it had way more shrimp then other restairants give in their sfr, chicken wings banging and not the typical seasoning of other Chinese restaurants, bourbon chicken good and fusion wings bang. My only sligt co.olaint is that they don’t sell the chicken wonton soup anymore and it took me years to find a local place that sold that since I haven’t eaten pork in 22 yrs. Please bring it back, especially for winter 🙂 other than that, yall making them other restaurants work harder and it’s good to see it my brother. Yall support this family owned, black owned, halal food business, we need them in our community and…they deserve it!

The food is trash.. egg foo young had egg shells in it. The orange chicken taste horrible in the bourbon chicken the rice was not seasoned, and some pieces were hard. I will never waste my funds in there again. Customer service sucks, the place is located in the trenches. The French fries are highway robbery four dollars with no sauce. I had to post a review. I got gassed up for nothing. Simply Trash

I got the general tso chicken and bourbon chicken. The general tso was fine, it wasn’t life changing but it was decent, albeit a little tough. The bourbon chicken was not very good, tasted very soft.
Overall, the best thing on the plate was the white rice.

Food was good, only downside it was limited seats and very cold in the dining area, when visiting Philly again, I would most definitely eat there again.

Best Chinese food I ever had. Halal fusion tasted fresh. I came all the way from Trenton New Jersey. I ate at several Chinese take outs and none of them compare. Food wasn’t greasy like most Chinese spots. I enjoyed the meal for the price most def!
