Different places prepare pho in their own style, but this one truly hit the perfect balance. The broth had depth without being overly salty, the seasoning was spot on, and the overall harmony of flavors was exactly what great pho should be — comforting, clean, and incredibly satisfying.
I’ll definitely be going back again. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese pho that truly delivers, Pho Que 91 is the place to go.
Bathrooms were clean. Everything seemed clean.
You order upfront and sit and they bring your order out to you. I got the House Combo pho with steak brisket and meatball. The steak was rare and very tender. The meatballs were good, but the brisket absolutely melted in my mouth it was amazing.
The broth was rich and deep gold but had a really nice clarity to it. I also got some pork and shrimp summer rolls. Very standard. The Thai tea was okay. Something about it felt chalky like it was maybe a powder mix, but it tasted good regardless.
My service was quick. Price wasn’t too bad either. Id Absolutely come back here. Id love to see this shop grow and expand they deserve the recognition
The summer rolls arrived first, and although there was a good deal of lettuce there was a nice layer of meat throughout. Also, this was the first time I’ve ever had the peanut dipping sauce served warm, and will now look down upon any future room temperature or chilled sauces
The green papaya salad followed, and while it wasn’t quite as spicy as I had hoped, there was an abundance of tasty shrimp to complement the well seasoned veg. Layering some of each taste upon the delicious fried (prawn?) crisps led to a satisfying, well balanced bite.
The star of the show arrived in the form of our large oxtail pho, and this is where every ingredient showed up to dazzle us in a synergistic warmth.
The broth. You just know when it’s made right, from bones and started yesterday.
The oxtail! Falling off the bone and savory, these were the hunks of meat I dragged through just a touch of hoisin and Sriracha on my side plate. Not because they needed any help in the flavor department, but because in the face of splendor I might lean a little into it
The brisket. Tender and lean, with a darling little cap of fat that has rendered all throughout.
And the eye of round! What a welcome shock when I went to break the slices apart and saw they were indeed rare and letting the broth cook them
This is now our go-to pho, without question. Luckily it’s only 50 minutes away
They have vegetarian options which I appreciate
