It’s cozy and unfussy, like a neighborhood spot you love rather than a one-time hype place. Service is warm, attentive, and consistent, which is a big reason I keep coming back.
Big thanks to the entire staff, the service and treatment were great from start to finish. Also have to give a shout-out to the music selection. It fit the place perfectly and made the experience even better. Definitely coming back.
On that day, I confirmed the reservation with your staff, providing my full name, phone number, and arrival time, receiving only a response of “Thank you, see you on Saturday.” However, when I attempted to inform you of a delay due to traffic, I was surprised to learn that my reservation had been canceled. I was told that a message had supposedly been sent requesting my credit card information, which I never received nor was informed of beforehand, and the situation was communicated in an unprofessional manner with a hostile tone.
I find it unacceptable that the initial and subsequent communication was one-sided and unclear. If there was any additional requirement to maintain the reservation, the proper procedure would have been to contact me directly and confirm the information, instead of automatically canceling without effective notification.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, the experience continued to be disappointing:
1. The venue lacks the ambiance expected of a French-style restaurant; its appearance is closer to a café or fast-food establishment, with plastic chairs and basic decor.
2. The staff service was rude and unprofessional, with arrogant attitudes and inappropriate attempts at humor during several interactions.
3. The quality of the food was mediocre: the salad was minimal and without dressing, the fries were excessively hard, and only the meat met expectations considering the $55 per person price.
4. An automatic 18% charge was applied despite the poor quality of service received, which I consider unjustified.
As a customer, I value attention to detail, courteous staff, and clear communication; unfortunately, your restaurant met none of these expectations.
For all the above reasons, I do not recommend your establishment and believe you should seriously review the way you manage reservations, customer service, and the presentation of the venue and the services offered.
This will be the first and last time I visit your restaurant.
The fries gave me the impression that they were frozen.
The sauce was ok nothing to write home about.
I will say that the salad was good, although it’s hard to mess up mixed greens with dressing and a couple of walnuts.
Lastly, the space and the vibe unfortunately do not make up for the food.
I really enjoyed the intricate steak with their special sauce. The salad was nice too. However the restaurant itself is small and doesn’t have a very nice ambiance, and resembles a diner a bit. Beware they auto include 18% service charge in your bill, new thing in Miami?
