Love this place! My husband and I had the distinct pleasure of eating at Union House this past Friday night. The food was incredibly good, everything came out hot, fresh and very fast for them being so busy with a retirement party. (Highly recommend the fish fry, Parma wings and tater kegs!)
Additionally, the atmosphere was wonderful and welcoming to all – and people were talking and laughing with just about everyone. The owner is a delightful woman who is witty, bubbly and committed to ensuring every patron has a great time. Overall, the social warmth was unlike anything I’ve seen in recent years and we really enjoyed ourselves!

Never been here before and never will again, waited over an hour for fish, it was cold and flavorless. The “waitress “ was the worst we stood at the front door waiting to be seated finally someone shouted just grab a table. The place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years literally! Ice bin and drink fountain had a filthy garbage can sitting in front of it, the ice container hadn’t been cleaned in years either so I can’t even imagine nor do I want to think of what the kitchen looked like, pierogis were grossly drowned in butter! Save your money and get a filet o fish! Clean up your restaurant and hire more staff!

I recently watched a Beatles tribute band here and they were excellent. Whoever books the live entertainment does a great job! However, the service at the restaurant was awful. I later found out that multiple cooks and servers called off. This would have been an acceptable excuse had the food come out within the first hour that I ordered it, but it took over an hour and a half. And I found the staff to be quite condescending. The food was nothing special. The fries were over cooked. I ordered a wrap which was decent but I was ready to eat just about anything by the time I was served.

What I got was the fish fry and the Parma wing pierogies which all was amazing food was excellent portions delicious I got coleslaw the coleslaw is beautifully good The fries are nice golden crispy the fish is nice juicy crispy at the same time I highly recommend this place

First time here!! Got there late on a Weds. They were getting ready to shut down the kitchen because it was slow, but when I asked if they were still cooking the owner immediately said yes and we ordered our food. It was quick and so good! The drinks & bar tender was great also. I’ll definitely be going back

My 5 stars are based on 2 things, the fish fry and the compassionate owner. This is the kind of bar where everyone knows your name and a round is bought for everyone if you love to love people. Come as you are, and take a few hours to enjoy a cheap beer and a shot, and possibly catch a band.
