We’ve only been once but we’re already convinced! The tom leng (sour and spicy pork bone soup) is sooo good—rich and balanced but not heavy at all—and the woman who takes the orders is really kind. Will definitely be back to try more dishes!

I am glad that I came across this place. The location is inside the park to shop food court (formerly Assi). Maybe my picture didn’t do it justice. The food is delicious, and I can tell the taste is authentic. I tried the chicken rice and pork bone soup. The soup is spicy, so be careful if you don’t eat spicy food. But I love spicy, so it suited my taste buds. I will try a different menu item next time.

Updated: I tried another menu item from this place. The Tom Kha was one of the best I’ve ever had in the area. I also tried the basil chicken rice with a fried egg on top. I’ll definitely be coming back again for sure.

Here is a hidden gem. I was just checking out this grocery store when I found P Dern Thai in the food court, so I had to try them after shopping. Impressive menu to choose from and the Basil Crispy Pork over rice with eggs spot on as if you were in Thailand. I just might shop at Park to Shop more often just to eat here!

Authentic Thai food
If you want to eat Thai food like local people, I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s located in the food court inside Park to shop grocery store on Milwaukee Ave.

The restaurant offers variety food such as local northern food, noodles and etc.

We have been here so many times. We always try different noodle dishes but one of the most delicious noodle dishes is Boat noodles. We orders every single time!! Tom Yum noodle is also tasty. The portion is big and the price is reasonable.

I went in for the duck noodle but was told that they don’t have it until next month. so I ordered Basil chicken with flat rice noodle (Fat noodle) and Pad Thai Beef instead, both had good flavor would recommend to give it a try.
Also got a papaya salad from the other reviewer’s recommendation, I do eat spicy food regularly but the medium spicy is too spicy for me. possible because they put green hot pepper and green pole bean in the mix and I ate the hot pepper alone with everything else. Overall the flavor is good, would try it with mild spicy and hope they would also give rice at the side.
Service is great, she helps answer all my questions, great attitude, lettings me know I need to wait longer because there are other orders in front me. I love it when it is told ahead of time.
It is food court so hard for them to control the atmosphere, but I focus the atmosphere rating on their menu design. It is very hard to see and understand. the reason is how they display their menu. Aside from look at menu with your own phone, there are three large TV screens. Two are high up which need to look up close because the words are mixed in with all the food photos. I understand what they trying to do, having photo with the name of the dish is great idea, but when they fit everything on the TV screen makes everything become very small, along with the position of the TV, photo become useless because hard to see the details, and with all the colorful dishes, it became distraction when searching for the name of dishes. Hope it can be improved so it is easier and faster for the customers.

Some of the best Thai food I’ve had in the US, simply incredible!!! The first bite of my Crispy Pork Belly with Basil brought me right back to the streets of Bangkok. The Corn Salad was done so perfectly with the right balance of sweet, sour, and umami. The Kao Kha Moo took the longest to get out but ended up being my favorite of the three dishes so they saved the best for last. The nice lady who took our order (maybe the owner) was so helpful and happy to serve us. Just a great experience all around. Please go support this wonderful business so they can continue to treat us to this amazing and authentic Thai cuisine.

This place has become my favorite restaurant, the most authentic Thai food I’ve ever had, the price is super affordable, it’s a food court so you should not expect high quality of service and customers should be cleaning up your own table after eating as a courtesy, my favorite dish is the papaya salad, some must try dishes are: tiger cry, pork hide sun, moo yang.
