I’ve been to many Chinese buffet from different states because I am over the road truck driver and I would say that this Shanghai buffet in Statesville is the best for all seasons. The foods are tasty especially my favorite mussels with cheese, crab ranggoon,shrimps and many more. The best of all the best.

I was hungry and jumped at the chance to get something to take out.I tried to see if I could get stuff from the buffet, but there was a language problem. The food was ready in about 10 minutes.No fork, just spoons. The soup was really good. The spring rolls weren’t that great. The egg roll was okay, but very tiny, and my general’s chicken was very sticky, and it was pre. Made, the rice was okay, but I would rather have white rice, but it wasn’t offered.

This is the best spot for Asian-style buffet in all of Statesville. The food is consistently tasty and appealing. The staff are always paying attention to you while you sine, and they also pay attention to the food they have put on; food is replenished often, and is always warm. The only areas that can merit complaints are the small dessert and sub-par sushi they have on offer. All around good option, as it is well priced and consistent. Good prices, too!

Loved the buffet. My wife and I found it to be very tasty, high quality and quite sufficient. Driving through to Florida, overnighting in Statesville. Will eat here every time we do that from now on.

First time trying out this buffet, I noticed right away that it was very small as I walked in. The food selection was very limited and only had three sections. Food also tasted below average.

The food is OK. Beware if you are picking up dinner. We got all the way home and realized as we were setting the table that they gave us a wrong Combination dinner. It happens and I’m pretty laid-back.We called. After trying to explain what happened; I have the receipt from the order; they said bring it back and we’ll make you a new one. Drove all the way back there. They didn’t offer to compensate the meal in any form And when I showed them the dinner combo, they packed up for me they insisted taking it back and would throw it away.

You can get 2 Crab Rangoon instead of an egg roll in your meal when getting takeout.
They’re always polite and quick to fill your order.
They serve beer and wine!

For me personally I like this Buffett. Every time I’m there the food has been a delight and they keep a very clean bar as well. The waitress are a little sassy at times but hey I am too after a long day. This is my go to place in statesville Nc when I want Chinese food!
