Thank you,Adnan and family for giving us an unforgettable experience at your place.
I try another restaurant in this shopping center regularly, so I finally gave Mediterranean Kebab and Pizza House a try!
I got the Kebab House Mixed Grill for my husband and I to share. I also got stuffed grape leaves, and mozzarella sticks.
All of the meat was good, the salad that came with the meal was good, the grape leaves were good… but the mozzarella sticks were not good at all. They weren’t exactly what I went there for though.
I didn’t get hummus and I was upset that I didn’t. I felt like that would’ve completed the meal. I think I need to try them again, after I get the hummus, for a more accurate review. For now I would recommend them to anyone looking for good Mediterranean food.
They had some very interesting and unique items on the menu, some I’d never even heard of before and that sounded very appetizing! I decided to go with kabob and selected an Adana Kabob, which is beef and a chicken shish kabob. The beef kebab was spiced nicely and tender, definitely not dry nor overcooked, which can be common with these thin style ground meat kabobs. The chicken was flavored nicely and very tender and moist. The rice was nice and had a decent flavor too.
We also tried their hummus which was really good and it came with their homemade bread, rather than a pita bread. The bread was really good, very nicely done, tasty, and soft! Their hummus was flavored nicely and they had a spicy dip which had a great flavor too.
To finish, we opted for some rice pudding and their Turkish coffee. The coffee was great! Definitely not bitter and that pudding was very flavorful too!
Loved this visit and would love to return to try more items from their amazing menu!
Our waiter was so very sweet and attentive, he even gave us complimentary teas, so adorable with little glasses and saucers and tiny spoons, served with sugar. It was delicious and, enjoyed my first Turkish meal, wonderful food and wonderful service.
I try to go to small businesses to support local. I by no means am a food critic, and I usually try to find the silver lining. THERE WAS NO SILVER LINING!
Food – I love turkish and meditetranean food. I was Extremely, Extremely, Extremely disappointed!!!!! I had chicken kebab and Adana kebab. My friend had two lamb kebabs. The platters come with rice and salad. Also, there is bread served. I kept waiting for flavor. There was a very minimal flavor. I most definitely wouldn’t have thought it was turkish. It tasted more like I went to a chain resteraunt. My rice was cold. The salad was decent. My turkish coffee was good.
Prices / Portions- For the portions of food, they give the price are terrible. The chicken kebab was average proportion.
However, the Adana was very small. But what really bothered me was the lack of rice. There was a very small portion. Every turkish mediterranean resteraunt I’ve gone to gives you enough rice for ea kebabs. There was just enough rice for one kebab. My friends’ lamb kebab was much of the same. Minimal flavor and minimal rice. Baklava and turkish coffee were ok.
The floor was dirty.
Maybe it was an off day. I will not be waisting another $65.00 to find out.
