1st time here. If you get a steak, it’s more than enough for two people! Wonderful food, nice atmosphere and lots of seating. We ordered a T-bone as well as a sirloin steak… large baked potatoes and a great fresh salad with dinner rolls! We have another meal for tomorrow with so much food! You won’t be sorry!

I’ve been eating here since the mid 1970s. If you’re looking for something from back then, this is it. No crop dusting til the steak has no flavor. Salt and pepper and steak. I usually get the Ribeye or T-bone, but the Sirloin was good. The wife had eaten part of her dinner and we ate part of the fried green beans before I took the pics.

My family has been going here for decades. Enjoy it everytime. But last night is the last time we will go. My husband and Sister and bother in law went. When we where given menus one had been written on with marker. Raising the prices the steaks by $3. Also other items had price increase, but not all items. We asked our waitress. She said they had raise price halfway in the season. They did not mark all the menus or reprint them. But when we were given our check the totals were over by$5 plus dollar. When we asked the cashier to re ring up the totals. She gave us attitude. She had a menu by the register clear marked with different prices then the menus we where given. She was like See here are the prices pointing to the tape down menu. She did re did them. But with attitude and then stanch the money and then walked away without a word or explanation. This is not the first time this has happened. We will not be back.

What a great find if you are in the area. When we stopped this was the 51 year opened. The parking can seem a bit crazy as it’s just a gravel parking lot but just find a spot and park. Trust me… It’s worth it. Go in and get on the waiting list. I would guess you will always be on the list as busy as this place is. The menu has limited options but what I wanted was listed (steak). They do have chicken and fish but this is what we selected. Everything came out fast and cooked perfectly. I was shocked how fast it came out. To the point I was looking for it to be wrong (overcooked or undercooked), but that was not the case. Service was excellent and friendly even though this place was packed the service team was on point. Overall, I can’t say enough great things about this place. Only issue I have is we don’t have one closer to where we live (lol). If you are in Helens GA it’s worth the 20 mile drive if you want a great steak at a great price. We can’t wait to go back.

The amount of food for the price is a fantastic value. The quality of the food is wonderful. The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Very nice restaurant about halfway between Helen and Hiawassee. Prices are reasonable and they give you plenty of food. They have a nice selection of seafood and steaks as well as other entrees on their menu. We have eaten here twice and both meals were very good. Definitely would recommend making the drive up in the mountains and eat here. You won’t be disappointed.

Savannah was an amazing server tonight. She was very attentive and courteous. The food came out piping hot and tasty. I strongly recommend to come early with a hefty appetite. Very reasonable priced and generous portions. Definitely we’ll be back in the future.

Very friendly folks, the food is excellent. Prices are very reasonable. Me and wife shared the 20oz sirloin! Incredible! Only negative is they only take cash. Closest ATM is a couple miles away! Well worth the trip.
