I just returned from Thailand a few weeks ago and have been missing the traditional Thai experience. This was a PERFECT treat.
I’ll admit I was a bit nervous having Thai food in the US after having experienced it in Thailand but my worries went away after my first sip of the Thai Iced Tea and spoonful of the Pumpkin Curry. I was immediately taken back to my time in Thailand! Truly, Giving Cafe might have been even better!!
The pumpkin curry was incredibly flavorful and packed a good punch!! I love Thai spicy and they did it perfectly – Could eat that curry every day!
The restaurant itself was beautiful. I loved the interior design. Service was great too. I even got to practice my limited Thai skills! 😉
I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend!

Lovely little spot tucked in SE. Came here on a Saturday evening and was quickly seated. The atmosphere is clean and warm, simple with about 8 or so tables.
The service was great and the meal came out extremely quickly. I wound up getting the cashew nut noodles and a lemonade. The noodles were a large portions which I loved and it was super flavorful. Chicken was cooked great and had nice level of spice.
It’s a bit tucked away but would definitely go back!

Delicious food. Friendly staff. Good vibes. We ordered the yellow curry with chicken, yakisoba kee mao with crispy pork belly, fresh salad rolls with shrimp, pot stickers, and Thai iced tea. The pork belly was awesome and so was the curry. We love spicy food so this was great for us. Will definitely come again.

A cute little spot to hang out in Milwaukie! They offer a variety of sauces for chicken wings—Larb is my favorite! The crab fried rice is absolutely delicious, and their house curry puffs were so good I had to order them twice. The crispy pork basil fried rice is a must-try, with a unique flavor you won’t find anywhere else. Their selection of Thai dishes truly makes this place a hidden gem!

The ambiance of this place is so eye-catching and comforting! I loved the mid-century minimalism theme. The food service was great and the server recommended yummy dishes to me when I was unsure of what to get. The food itself was very fresh and I love how they offer GF options. My favorite dish I tried was the chicken laarb and the Thai lime tea. I would recommend checking out this gem in the heart of downtown Milwaukie!

We stopped by for a bite to eat on a whim and were very happy with that choice. I ordered the Pra ram and it included spinach, which was new to me. It was flavorful. My partner ordered the pineapple curry and enjoyed his meal as well. The server was nice and attentive. The restaurant was virtually empty at 11 on a Saturday (we were there early). The decor is cute and the restroom was clean! Prices were reasonable and the choices were as expected for a Thai restaurant. We will be back.

Our server was super nice and top-notch. Had Crispy Pork Pad Thai and the Fried Chicken Bowl with larb sauce. I usually think Pad Thai is kind of boring, but this was anything but. The Fried Chicken Bowl was topped high with red onions and fresh herbs which made it very bright. Both I would order again – very flavorful and fresh. The Thai Iced Tea is massive and a steal at $5!

It’s fantastic: delicious, unique food in a light, bright, and impeccably clean location. The curry puff starters are worth trying – think samosas with a distinctive Thai twist. As a bonus, iced Thai tea comes in a mug the size of an Octoberfest stein. Give this spot a try 😀

We are so thrilled that Giving has given life to a corner spot that has sure struggled over the years.
The chicken pad thai was so tasty and exactly what we’ve been craving. Flavorful, good portion, everything was cooked just right.
The fried chicken bowl was a yummy companion. Just the perfect amount of breading, crunch, flavor, and the chicken was the perfect consistency.
To wash it all down, we order a Mai Thai and a Cadillac margarita, the former being our favorite. Top notch.
