Nikuya Rooftop is redefining Japanese dining in Fort Worth—where culinary artistry meets breathtaking skyline views high above the city.
Our approach is rooted in both tradition and innovation. Drawing inspiration from the celebrated butcher program at our sister restaurant, Wicked Butcher, we apply the same reverence for quality, technique, and precision—now expressed through the language of Japanese cuisine. Premium seasonal ingredients, expertly handled and thoughtfully composed, form the foundation of each dish.
The experience is elevated but warm, refined yet relaxed. Guided by genuine hospitality and a welcoming spirit, Nikuya Rooftop offers a setting that is both luxurious and unmistakably Fort Worth—a place to gather, savor, and c

Parking is easy with either street parking or the Sinclair’s valet. Be sure to stop by the Wicked Butcher host stand first as you’ll need to be escorted to the elevator for access up.
Once you step off the elevator, your reservation is confirmed and you’re guided to either the patio or the indoor sushi bar. We booked patio seating, got cooler throughout the evening, but the staff were very accommodating with moving us closer to a nearby fire pit.
Our server, Hannah, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable of the menu and perfectly attentive. She paced each dish beautifully throughout the night and made the whole experience feel special.
You’re welcomed with a complimentary glass of bubbles and the chef’s amuse-bouche, which is such a nice touch.
Now for the food–we tried nearly the entire menu and everything was fresh, presented beautifully and full of flavor:
Appetizers
Scallop Crudo
Oysters
Tuna Tartare (favorite!)
Handrolls
Juicy Pop
Crabby Hands
Rich Daddy (favorite!)
Makimono
Sweet Escape
Nikuya Cut (favorite!)
The Sinclair
Cowboy Kiss (on the house due to a nearby table’s order mix-up–very kind gesture)
Nigiri
Hamachi
Chutoro
A friend ordered one of each off the Nigiri menu and said everything she tried was excellent as well.
We still have a few items left to explore, and we’re already planning our next visit to experience Omakase style at the sushi bar.
Highly recommend for the stunning views, memorable dishes, and top-tier service. Fort Worth truly needed this addition.

This restaurant is beautiful (the view is the best in the entire city), the food is delicious and the staff is so attentive and kind! They even brought us a few complementary drinks and dishes, which was the cherry on top. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more!

Simply amazing! Only disappointment was the fact that I was too full to enjoy more dishes. Everything was spot on…the atmosphere, the service, the drinks, and the food. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation.

This is probably the best sushi restaurant and experience I’ve ever had in the DFW area. The sushi bar sits 16, creating an intimate and unique feeling dining experience. Our waitress, Hannah, was insanely knowledgeable about the menu and extremely attentive. I cannot say enough good things about her (she’s also a fantastic photographer!). If you’re undecided where to go for your next small birthday celebration, make your reservation in advance because this is absolutely the place to go.

I took my daughter here for her birthday and it was wonderful! The service was amazing and the food, especially the salmon crudo, was delicious! The restaurant is located on the 17th floor of the Autograph Collection Sinclair hotel and has great views of downtown Fort Worth. For better views, there is available seating outside.

This was a gem of a sushi dinner experience. The cocktails complemented the dishes well and the plating is rivaling a Michelin star restaurant. I recommend holding off on the soy and wasabi since each plate has subtleties which make them stand out, especially the fish sauce caramel on the Cowboy Kiss. The view is spectacular as well. I’m looking forward to trying out the patio seating when the weather is permitting!

The view is spectacular but the service and the food will bring you back again and again. Our server Caroline was so well versed on the menu, guided us through our selections, made recommendations that were spot on. The manager ensured we were well taken care of and the chef even flexed a bit ensuring we tried his special salmon kudos which needs to be on your agenda here. I’m not a salmon fan at all but wound up eating more than half, my wife was upset. The a5 wagyu is tremendous. What an exceptional addition tot he FORT worth food scene. Oh and the cocktails were excellent and the presentation was perfection. If you are just in town for fun or want to really impress a significant other you have to come here. They nail it

Don’t miss this spot! The rooftop vibe is unbeatable, and the menu showcases a perfect blend of quality and creativity, all served by a passionate team. Every dish on this menu is a winner. We enjoyed the tuna tartar, Rich Daddy, The Butcher, Cowboy Kiss, Golden Bite, and a couple of off-menu surprises. Each was fantastic—we couldn’t decide on a favorite.
