We’ve visited 5 or 6 times now. The food has always been amazing. I haven’t had a dish I didn’t like. The most recent visit was boosted further by the amazing service of Donna. She was fast, friendly, and gave us a truly personal experience.

Great little place. We ordered the regular fish tacos and the blackened tuna fish tacos. The regular ones were much tastier, however, lacked much flavor. It seemed the chipotle sauce may have been missing. Service was great and the rest of the staff was pleasant in both greeting us and on out exit. Good place to eat…and drink… low key.

To be honest, I was very hesitant to go this place. After looking at the reviews my mind was eased, and I have to say I am glad I have it a chance because it was amazing! We got a 2 for $40 deal which includes an appetizer, 2 meals and 2 deserts. Everything we ate was awesome and it was a very chill atmosphere. Everything we had hit the spot and we had a good amount of food! Great flavors and fresh seafood this is a great place and I will definitely be back!

Wow! Excellent lunch joint!! The Blackened Tuna tacos are out of this world. Top Notch. Have to come back again soon! Fries were good as well! Soda was a little flat, but drinkable. Did I mentioned I’m coming back soon?!?

It was just ok. There are literally no views of water from inside the restaurant. They do have outdoor seating that might be good during cooler seasons. I recommend calling in reservations on weekends! Cocktail menu was decent. I had appetizer for dinner: 3 shrimp & 2 sea scallops, all bacon-wrapped & drenched in bbq, which was delicious! Hubs had fried seafood platter which he felt was skimped on portions, especially the fish. Everything tasted great. Service wasn’t awful. No reason to go back.

The atmosphere was alright! The food was not as tasty as I expected? They had a “Pre-Selected” menu for us because our party was so large and I was excluded from it so I had to order from the Reg.menu and I am SO HAPPY I DID because it was to tally different,taste different,looked different and overall was so much better than that “Pre-Selected “ choices? The “crab balls” were absolutely awful, nothing like the “Crab cakes” the fish was disgusting, not seasoned at all but off the menu, same fish, so much better! I was not impressed at all with the food. Service was Great and the parking was not a pleasant experience either. Sorry but I would not recommend this place

Excellent food, service and atmosphere! Both locations are absolutely a place you need to visit. The food is always fresh, mouth watering, and unique. You can not get this food anywhere ….which makes them so special. I will definitely visit this place and any restaurant they open, this place is a must! Sean and his family put their heart and souls into fine dining, wonderful customer service, beautiful atmosphere, and food to die for!

Absolutely wonderful. I am visiting my son in Norfolk and really wanted a seafood dinner. I read the reviews on a lot of places and finally decided on Dock of the Bay. It may look like a hole in the wall but I assure you it has some of the best seafood, well, food period, that I’ve ever had. Our waitress, Christine, was attentive and friendly, the type of person you instantly want to sit down and have coffee with. She assured us that their clam chowder is the best from here to Baltimore and she wasn’t lying! The cream base was so flavorful, the big chunks of clam were tender and the bits of corn just pushed it right over the edge. I’ll never be able to eat the canned stuff again and I WILL be making the 9 hour drive from NY again just to have a bowl of this deliciousness! My son had shrimp scampi and said it was amazing. I had the grilled seafood platter: melt in your mouth, so yummy and the tender stalks of asparagus I chose as one of my sides was seasoned perfectly. We sat out on the covered porch with a view of the docks and water… So peaceful and lovely. There were heaters scattered around so even though it was chilly outside the temperature was perfect inside. My son is so happy that we found this place and he can’t wait to bring friends here. Thank you for a wonderful, memorable dining experience!

So.. wow. Simply put, my entire family (6 of us that night) were blown away by this place. It was everyone’s first time there and we weren’t sure what to expect. It’s admittedly a bit of a hole in the wall, but not a single one of us was disappointed in any fashion. We all got the 2 for $40 (awesome deal on Mondays and Tuesdays) so we shared and sampled each other’s appetizers and meals. We ordered the crab and spinach dip, calamari, and bacon-wrapped shrimp and scallops for apps. All three: DEEELISH. The calamari was perfectly breaded and cooked. I was only able to snap one picture of an entree (fish tacos) because we all swooped in on them so quickly. But how massive are those pieces of fish?? I ordered grilled salmon with asparagus and broccoli. Can we say yum? The desserts were incredible as well. We just ranted and raved about how good everything was the entire time and walked away feeling so completely satisfied. And the service was fantastic to boot! Do yourself a favor and check out this sweet hidden gem.
