Pastini has been my go-to, other than olive garden. It’s way better in my opinion and I love it. I’ve always ordered online and have never dined in before. I was treated very nicely, and had a good chat with the server. I came in during lunch special with family, and the menu items were great! I would come every day if I can. It wasn’t as crowded, and the atmosphere was very comfortable to be in.

I’ve been here three times. The food is honestly some of the better end of Italian cuisine in the Portland Metro area, as is the service. This time I ordered the winter seasonal dish; Rigatoni Diavola, “a lightly-spicy, cozy bowl of deliciousness, with Calabrian chilies, fresh tomatoes, savory prosciutto and fresh oregano.”
The dish was cooked perfectly, plated nicely and served in short time with a smile. Thre problem was I could taste the pan it was cooked in. The flavor left in my mouth was like licking the bottom of a well-seasoned pan that was scorched. A bitter, burnt, almost delightfully smokey if it weren’t for the acrid taste of burnt oils. For me, two out of three ain’t bad, so I’ll be back and will still recommend Pastini as one of the better restaurants in Portland.

I was pleasantly surprised, the food here was excellent and the portions were massive. We did take out but the booths and tables inside were nice with a calm atmosphere perfect for a family dinner. We will be back!

I’ve been going to Pastini’s for almost 20 years. Outstanding food that always satisfies my tummy served by friendly staff. My pic is of Meatball Monday (a great deal!) I added sausage, side of garlic bread, but gluten free noodles for the main. Of note, their broccolini is some of the best I have ever had: sauteed in olive oil and garlic it is so savory, crisp and fresh, gotta get your greens in and they make it easy!

The second time we went in person and we were not disappointed!! The restaurant itself is nice, there’s a good amount of seating, and the ambiance was cozy. Everyone was polite, pleasant to talk with, and the service was quick. This time I tried the chicken Alfredo with tortellini instead of the fettuccine noodles. My spouse ordered the spaghetti carbonara (forgot restaurant picture as it was devoured). Both dishes were stars and we left feeling full and happy!
I would recommend Pastini to anyone that loves pasta and wants a good meal.

We have visited this location twice and had the same server, Jamie. She is awesome, very attentive and genuine! Each time it’s been 10 out of 10. The food is great for being a causal dining experience. Highly recommend Gamberetti! We’ve tried different things each time and can’t wait to come back for Wine Wednesday (1/2 off bottles of wine)!

A tastfully graceful restaurant, the food and atmosphere complimented each other nicely. With a robust vegetarian menu and a surprisingly delightful selection of seafood options, Pastini is a great option for some light but filling pasta. Offering options to add meat and veggies to all their dishes, this is the perfect little spot for some delicious carbs.
