Amazing! Our second time here, up from San Antonio and for the last year this is what we looked forward to most! Yet again it did not disappoint. Best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Supper cool little trailer with very limited hours of operation, catch them while they are there. Cannot say enough about it. We will be back again next year!

All the elements of a great egg sandwich (bacon, sausage, cheese), plus a full hashbrown down the middle that will leave you satiated through the afternoon. And unlike most food establishments in this mountain town, Grumpys isn’t afraid of flavor (sauce) — the mayo condiment gets loaded on thick, just like you want it.
Ask for the locals only order of “extra sloppy, extra spicy” and Brett will do you right.
It’s right off the main intersection — You’d be losing time not to stop here. For an efficient and well rounded breakfast, add a coffee and pop tart next door from Veya.

Don’t let the tiny yellow trailer fool you, they are serving up an awesome breakfast sandwich. We both got the bacon sandwich and it was amazing. Friendly folks working in the trailer and hanging around outside in the outside dining area. Very cool vibe, and we’ll definitely stop by again when we’re in Buena Vista.

What a great quick breakfast spot! Very satisfying breakfast sandwich. As others have said, love that the hash brown adds a nice bit of crunch to the sandwich. Good bun, tasty sausage, loved that aioli. Service with a smile, and though there was a line (this is a popular spot) we got our food in a veey reasonable amount of time. Not a ton of seating, but it is designed for “takeaway” of course. Had we sat to enjoy our breakfast, it’d have been a nice little spot to quietly eat and people watch. Very convenient location, right off Main Street. Very satisfied!

Owners come off a little grumpy at first. The redhead is fine. Just fight your way through the line, try to avoid the balding guy, place your order, and you’ll be okay.
The sandwich though? Absolutely fantastic! 10/10!
