We had an incredible lunch at Nan’s in Stow, MA today! I had the most delicious Clam Chowder I’ve ever eaten, and followed with a Nansville Hot Chicken sandwich. We’re from Nashville and this is better than any hot chicken we’ve had there. My wife had the Herb and Garlic Falafel Bowl with Broccoli Crunch Salad and Black Bean Business. She thoroughly enjoyed it as well! Fabulous and we highly recommend!

Nan’s is our local go to place when we are having a small to medium sized gathering. We ordered the 10 Sammie original platter and 5 pesto chicken sandwiches. Both were equally delicious! A three sides completed the dinner along with 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies.
Thank you Nan’s for doing just a great job with your fabulous home cooked style all these years. It’s really great for those nights we need a break from cooking but still enjoy that home cooked meal.

Wow, one of the best Nashville sandwiches I have ever had! I am personally a huge fan of Dave’s hot chicken but I love getting local food. Nan’s hot chicken sandwiches are no question better than Dave’s! I got the barn burner and it would be comparable to the second hottest sandwich at Dave’s. But the flavors and freshness of ingredients made it taste even better. The sauce is saucing (not as much of a dry rub). The employee’s here all seemed very nice and accommodating! Definitely check this place out of you are in the area!

I’ve eaten at Nan’s Rustic Kitchen 4–5 times a week for nearly three years, which probably says more than any single review can. The staff are consistently warm, grounded, and genuinely service-oriented — the kind of team that remembers people, not just orders. The menu rotates thoughtfully, the recipes are clearly chef-driven, and the food is both comforting and nutritionally mindful without ever feeling preachy or precious.
What stands out most is the intention behind the place. This is a family-run kitchen committed to quality, sustainability, and community, not corporate-style profit maximization. They work long days to offer truly nourishing food at fair prices, and that spirit shows in the atmosphere and the consistency.
No restaurant is perfect every single day, but Nan’s is one of those rare places where good faith, good food, and good people intersect. Now with pickup and delivery options, it’s even easier to support a local kitchen that’s clearly dedicated to serving well and feeding people right. If you value thoughtful food and a genuine local vibe, it’s worth experiencing for yourself.

I usually get the chicken sandwich, but I ordered the chicken dumpling soup instead because it was a cold night. It was the most delicious chicken soup I have ever had! The dumplings were perfect, the chicken was all white meat, and the veggies made it a very satisfying bowl of soup. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic and diverse establishment with many wonderful and healthy options. Everything is made fresh. I had one of the salad bowls with chicken. It is a make-your-own bowl with options. I also had a cup of the clam chowder which I highly recommend. They also have a beer and wine section with some unique choices.

Nan’s Kitchen is a charming and welcoming spot that really delivers on the warmth and homeliness its name suggests. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is genuinely warm and attentive — exactly the kind of hospitality you’d hope for from a place called Nan’s. The food is decent but is the one area that needs more love and care to truly match the heartfelt feel of everything else. With more soul and depth in the cooking, Nan’s Kitchen could be an absolute neighborhood treasure.

Now that I know where to find the perfect chicken sandwich I don’t have any reason to travel below the Mason-Dixon Line again. Other than a kid who lives in Atlanta. There’s a location right in our town too, which is wild…that means we’ve finally got a great (not just good) place for coffee too. The plexiglass capped well inside the Stow location caught me off guard – thought I was dreaming for a minute. Overall, this is a great spot to meet friends and enjoy a massive selection of creative and healthy food and drink – not just chicken.

Great service, great people. Highly recommend visiting, best mashed potatoes and chicken. Long day, ordered take out for the family, this guy, ME made a mistake. Before I could even say a word, they said, we will take care of it. That they did. Just wow. Food was always great, but to also receiving 110% customer service, you can’t teach that, that is in the person and leadership. Good things cooking there.
