I’m so sad I didn’t get more pictures of the food. It was outstanding. Delicious, moist and so much of it. Talk about generous proportions. We got raves from all the guests at my daughter’s wedding. I highly recommend them

Get here early for the best selection. The Mac + pulled pork was perfection and plenty for two people. We also got the ribs which were slow smoked with patience and love of the craft. Will be back next time we are in the area.

Smok’n Gingers BBQ catered my wedding 6 months ago & our guests are still talking about how good it was! They were nothing but helpful in the menu selection process, I have some food intolerances and they made sure I was accommodated and able to eat well at my wedding! I highly recommend their food truck and their catering!

I wanted to add this post – note the stars do not reflect anything that I have actually tried. Only that the gentleman who answered my phone call was very polite and took a good 3 minutes to answer my questions. I have not tried the food yet. I asked if they had any gluten free food. The gentleman who answered the call said there’s no gluten to worry about in any of their meats as well as in any of their sides EXCEPT for the mac & cheese.
Would be awesome if they would add this to their site – they’ve been open for quite some time.
Once I actually have the pleasure to enjoy their menu foods I will repost my complete review.

NOTE: I always go to Google maps to look at a restaurant and under their reviews I go to the search -> put gluten -> to look to see what other gluten free people put as a review and what options were available.

I got the combo, really enjoyed the smoked tri-tip, had a nice bark, and the traditional bbq sauce went well with it. The Mac and cheese was super comforting and has just the right amount of black pepper to kick it up. The baked beans with bacon were very flavorful and hearty. But, I did not care for the pulled pork at all, it was very dry, sort of mealy to the taste buds and not very pleasurable.

My husband is from AL nd Smok’n Gingers got his stamp of approval today. We agree that this will be our new date night food.

Husband got the Trippin Mac N Cheese, he says that the tri-tip was cooked perfectly and the sweetness of the sauce was spot on. The meal size fills you up but doesn’t make you too full. I had a bite of it and I agree it was good, though, the regular sauce is to sweet for my tastes.

I got a pulled pork sandwich with the sweet heat sauce. That sauce was spot on for me. Spicy without being hot and sweet without being overwhelming. The sauce a condiment not a binder, the meat was juicy and perfectly cooked with that smoky flavor I love on pork. The coleslaw added a nice fresh crunch to each bite. The bun was toasted wich kept it from getting to soft. The sandwich was wide instead of tall so I didn’t feel like I was taking huge bites.

There is sad I am. I always get a thrill to go to a barbeque place for the first time. The two fellows in the truck are fine fellows indeed. Courteous, professional, ready to display their wares. The Chicken Thighs are good. Light on the smoke, yet we’ll cooked. Tender, tasty, toothsome. The sauce? Meh.
Now, onto the reason for my stopping, the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Yes, it was topped with an unexciting slaw. The meat was smoked? Okay, if you say so. I mean, there was some outside brown. Tender to the point of (shredded, chopped, maybe,) near mushiness. Not bad, just not a lot of flavor. Nothing to lift the meat’s flavor to excite the the tongue. They do Tri Tip which, this being the West, may be better. I will stop and try that some time. Thank you, anyway.

Stopped today on a way back from Eugene to Portland and ordered 2-meat sampler (Ribs, Tri-tips with beans and slaw and sweat/heat sauce). It was super tasty! Ribs were so juicy and soft, and I don’t know what their dry rub is, but it’s great too. As far as atmosphere, it is a food truck but with train passing and sounding horn like 30 yards away, I had to up it one star. Definitely will come back if I’m passing nearby.

Tri tip burger. Delicious. Wish they had more sides like fries or tater tots. But I dont think they can since the other food carts sell that. Still pretty good size for a $13 burger
