My grandson’s birthday was today and he choose his favorite Pizza Hut to eat. After getting my salad I asked the waitress (Zan) if there was like a birthday cake or something I could purchase for him. She wasn’t sure but took the time to come up with something. We’ll after our meal she took it to a level I couldn’t believe. She gathered up the employees and where she got the candle from who knows and dimmed the lights and they all came out to sing for him. The look of surprise on his face was priceless. I want to thank the employees and especially Zan for this beautiful gesture. Thank you so much to all of you!

Ordered the The Big New Yorker on 2/19 for take out, it looked really delicious in the app photo. It’s a thin crust pizza. The cook ran it through the whole cooking process as if it was a pan pizza, it was tremendously over cooked, the crust and dough under the sauce and cheese tasted and felt like biting into a piece of hard cardboard, and to add insult to injury the cutter and boxer would actually serve something that looked like that. The oven time should have been way less for that pizza. Was really disappointed with this pizza. Sorry no photo I was so aggravated I threw it in the trash.

I’ll probably offend the pizza snobs out there but here goes. When I think of pizza I visualize a thin crust pepperoni pizza. And when that thought occurs I always think of the thin and crispy crust pepperoni pizza at Pizza Hut. They prepare if absolutely perfectly in my opinion. Not when you take it home via the take out window and definitely not through delivery. Even if you reheat it, it’s just not the same. Now I fix from-scratch pizza at home several times a year and am fairly proficient at the process so I really appreciate a good pizza. The Pizza Hut pizza crust is thin and crispy with just the right amount of marinara sauce and the pepperoni has just a hint of crispness around the just-starting-to-curl edges. This Pizza Hut gets the food and service right every time. I sure do miss the buffet…

This was a pleasant visit. From the start when l called in my order, the person (who l later found out was named Angel) was extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Once l was in the restaurant Angel was quick and attentive. The pizza was ready, it was hot and it was made correctly. These are all the things l need to be a happy, satisfied and will return customer…l have managed many restaurants including Pizza Huts, so l know the customer and the business side…Good job

It’s been quite a few years since I’ve been to a Pizza Hut for various reasons. This one will have me coming back regularly. The pizza was hot, fresh, made quickly, and served with an amazing smile by the young lady at the front. Been in New Bern for 3 years and I’m mad it took me this long to try them. I’ll definitely be back.

09/12/25. Dirty dining area. No clean glasses, forks, knives. Paper cups and plastic forks. Incredibly slow service. Food on the floor. No refills. Tables stacked with used plates, cups, scraps, silverware.
