We had an awesome experience at this new restaurant. Our server Mel was fantastic! She was super friendly and really attentive the whole time. The atmosphere is inviting, and the decor is full of local history and character. You can tell a lot of thought went into every detail.
The outdoor space is great, with plenty of room and some fun games. There are two bars, one in the front and one in the back, which makes it a great place to hang out or catch a game.
We tried the Westy’s dry rub wings and they were phenomenal! Easily some of the best I’ve had. The Westy’s lager was really good too, and the Blackjack Mule was a solid cocktail. I give the whole experience a 10/10.
Definitely worth checking out. This place is going to be a favorite in town!

Had a great lunch @ Westy’s after visiting West Point. Conveniently located just outside the entrance to West Point. Had a delicious smash burger with fries accompanied by friendly bartender service. The Veteran/Owner introduced himself as well. Place is clean, Military/West Point Themed. Love it!

Westy’s is what we’ve been waiting for in Highland Falls! It feels like you’re transported to Austin Texas. The Beat Navy salad was absolutely delicious and the burgers were tremendous. The fries were some of the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend for a casual event or even somewhere to take a client or your Cadet.

5 stars all around!! Our community is lucky to have this new place. You can feel the passion all around- community vibe! West Point history. Awesome addition to our community. Food and drinks are great. The food was was priced fair ($9 for tzaki and pita). The wine was $12, for a small stemless glass….. but it is a nice wine. Hess- Chardonnay. Maybe they will have a happy hour in the future. Awesome place all around. Thank you to the owners for bringing this to our local community. Can’t wait to bring back the family one night! Ps- amazing outdoor space! They have the outside ring game… Cornhole… Outdoor bar… String lights

We’re back! Second time here. Drove 4 hrs straight here before checking into our hotel for tomorrow’s football game. This time I added in the fried cauliflower to my dinner. Pic added. Soooo delicious.

A visit to Westy’s Highland Falls feels less like eating out and more like being welcomed into a local institution that wears its West Point roots proudly. Owned and run by West Point graduates, the place has a warm, unfussy, almost mess-hall-meets-family-kitchen vibe; patriotic touches, friendly service, and a sense that half the room knows each other.
The food is far better than the casual setting might suggest. Their burgers are properly juicy and cooked with care, the French onion soup is rich and comforting, and the steak sandwich is a standout …simple, hearty, and exactly what you want after a long Hudson Valley walk. Even the salads feel thoughtfully put together rather than an afterthought.
What really makes Westy’s work, though, is the atmosphere. It has that rare blend of pride, history, and small-town warmth that makes you linger longer than planned. It is not trying to be trendy or polished and that is precisely its charm.
If you are visiting West Point or passing through Highland Falls, Westy’s is the kind of place that makes the stop feel worthwhile.

Wonderful atmosphere, great food, drinks, and customer service. Staff attentive and responsive to questions and concerns. Chef Mike came to our table to check on the quality of our food which was an added extra touch. We ordered the slider style burgers, garlic parmesan fries, wings, and the tzasiki with pita and the food was just amazing. Rarely do I leave a 5 star review but this place truly earned it. Highly rated.

The tzatziki dip is a MUST have, burgers come 2 in an order with potato chips and are very juicy as they should be. Chef Mike is an absolute legend with the cheffing. Wings and fries are delicious. This review doesn’t do the food justice, or the pics. Come in and try it out for yourself. Stop with the same old spots. Thank me later with a like on this comment

Was told by a local they were open and everyone was going. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but love the decor and the vibe. Smaller menu of food items, but they have a good bar selection. I got the pretzel’s and brisket smash burger. Pretzels were amazing! Smash burger was good. Surprisingly I didnt tealize inwas getting 2, i thought is was a double patty. The chips were maybe barbeque? Sweet. I will have dinnmer tomorrow.
I struggled with the rating but giving them a 4 anyway. I am southern, laid back and easy. I sat in the alcove and no one xame to check on me at all. I asked another customer to make sure no one got my food so I could get comdiments, a to go box and another drink. The first time I was checked in was to take trash and tell me they’d bring the bill.
I am going to chalk it up to growing pains since they’ve only been open a week. I will be back because I want to try the Bucknner Beef and at 6 p.m. they were sold out… it must be good. We’ll see if they have caught their stride when I’m back in a month.

My husband and I stopped by on a Wednesday night for dinner. Adam was our waiter. The entire experience was awesome. The service was great and the food was excellent. The Honey Asian Cauliflower Bites and Brisket Smash were so flavorful and the portion sizes were big. The building interior is so beautiful. We will definitely come back when we visit West Point again. Congratulations to Holly and Mark for opening such a special place.
