We have moved from our Staniford location, but we are close by in the financial district! Mexican recipes are second to none for taste and freshness. We try to buy all locally grown veggies (organic, when available), fish and chicken. Our beef comes from Kansas City and Canada. If you want FRESH INGREDIENTS this is the place to go! The chicken is never dry. The guacamole is always fresh. No shortcuts or no gimmicks. You pay for quality food. Every time I’m in Boston I’ll past 2-3 taco joints just to come eat here. Plus they have a desert/pastry shop next door for all the people with a sweet tooth.

We have been ordering the Viva Burrito Premium Taco Bar for staff events for several years and we LOVE it. They are the BEST. There is plenty of food and it is prepared beautifully, from the soft corn tortillas to the beef, pork and chicken and pico de gallo, guacamole, rice and beans and the cheese and salsas are the absolute best. It’s not only delicious but healthy too and everyone gets to make whatever they want, whether it’s tacos, nachos, or arroz con [insert what you want here]! The grilled vegetables are superb too. I cannot stress enough how much everyone loves it when tell them we ordered a taco bar for them from Viva Burrito!!!

I had Viva Burrito back in 2023. It was so incredible we had to order more food to go to have for later. I ended up stealing my wife’s portion. I knew it was wrong but I am just a man. I was weak for the perfectly cooked quesodilla. She has hung this act of betrayal over my head for two years getting herself off the hook for all her indiscretions by reminding me of when I stole her Viva Burrito. I don’t blame her. I robbed her of a moment of pure bliss. But today, after two years out of the country, we’re landing in Boston and I finally get to redeem myself and gorge on the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Eat her! Fantastic!

Pretty good for a fast casual Mexican place, would come here again for a quick bite. The lamb burrito is unusual but good, worth a try. I don’t love their guac; too limey. And tacos are fine in terms of taste, nothing special – but a bit overpriced.

Decent food. Was really looking forward to having their burrito bowl with tortilla, but I think thats hard to do with takeout. Really will try to reconsider the visit and score with an in-person visit, but I think there are several places better than viva burrito – i havent tried something that was a real game-changer.

I’m sorry but I just paid for their “large” guacamole and it’s the smallest container so buyer beware (see picture). Also, look carefully when you do an online order because they try to add in an automated tip. That makes me not want to give one. Food is good but probably won’t go back for the above reasons
