My recent visit was a delightful offering truly authentic Mediterranean flavors,by the way they have the best falafel !!! Also from the moment we walked in, the
warm, bustling, cozy atmosphere set the stage for a fantastic meal, with friendly staff greeting us warmly.”
This is NOT a Mediterranean restaurant at all. As someone who’s been to Turkey and Greece, and dined at authentic Mediterranean restaurants in the Bay Area, this place is just a pass-off.
If you’ve experienced authentic Mediterranean food before, don’t waste your time at this place. This is Mexican food passing off as Mediterranean food.
To top off the experience, we had the pleasure of meeting Bashar, the gracious and charismatic owner. His hospitality made us feel right at home, and his passion for food shines through every dish. He even surprised us with Baklava on the house, a sweet and thoughtful gesture that sealed the perfect meal.
From the warm ambiance to the phenomenal Mediterranean flavors, this place is a true gem. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!
Walking into Dametra Fresh Mediterranean, we were greeted with the aroma of grilled meats, warm spices, and baked pita—an instant promise of something special. The atmosphere was clean, casual, and inviting, perfect for a relaxed but satisfying meal.
We started with a spread of Tzatziki and Hummus, both rich and flavorful. The pita was warm and pillowy—exactly how it should be. The Falafel offered a nice crunch with a soft, herbed interior that didn’t disappoint.
Our table quickly filled with Mediterranean classics. The Chicken Shawarma was tender and well-seasoned, while the Chicken Kabob had that smoky, grilled finish that made each bite better than the last. The real surprise was the Ultimate Vegan Delight—vibrant, hearty, and layered with fresh ingredients that made it anything but an afterthought.
For dessert, we couldn’t skip the Baklava. It was buttery and sweet with just the right amount of crunch—an indulgent way to finish the meal.
Service was quick and friendly, and the kitchen clearly takes pride in what they serve. Whether you’re eating in or grabbing something fresh on the go, Dametra Fresh is a true standout. We’ll absolutely be back. Five stars!
The sauces help make a difference, as you have plenty of options to choose from. Simply put, there is something on the menu for everyone in your party or family.
The inside atmosphere is pleasant and nice, with subtle wall decor and a quick service line to get your food; get to see it made right in front of you:)
Great location and just a top quality place to get your Shwarma on! Love the name as well…the blend of Damascus and Petra…brilliant!
The wrap was great and you can tell how fresh the ingredients were. Though when I opened the foil my wrap was stuck to it and it got ripped open. My lil sister loved her platter as this was her first time trying out this place.
The place is rather small so not much indoor seating if you come with a group bigger than four since there was only two tables to fit groups of four. It was a clean and tidy atmosphere that was welcoming as you walked in the door.
