This place is always packed, so be prepared. The prices are a bit higher with smaller portions (except for the pho/ ramen) but the food was fantastic. The service was excellent.

Drove to Reno for the first time from Vegas. What an amazing scenic drive. With all the snow on the mountains surrounding us on each side of the road. It literally was dumping snow in each town we passed as we were getting higher in elevation. It was just coming down as we got into sparks and Reno, so thankful we made it safely. All the roads were covered and it was just an all out blizzard. So cold with the wind chill me and the wife wanted Pho. We found this spot not too far from where we were staying. 9 minute drive , Roads were pretty clear, mostly and highways. I got the veggie Pho with tofu and it was phenomenal. I love the way they fried the tofu and caramelized the shallots I believe that was different from other Veggie Phos I’ve had. it definitely gave it more flavor. Also the veggies chowmein was really good as well, not too greasy or dry like most. My wife got the shrimp/ calamari Pho and she said it was amazing. Flavors were there and she almost drank all the broth lol.

We came from Roseville CA, to celebrate my son’s bday . He wanted Vietnamese food. We googled a highly rated restaurant in Nevada. Wow it did not disappoint. Immediately energy we walked in . We were met with an amazing scent of delicious food. . The restrooms were extremely clean! And well stocked.
The staff was the best
Both people that welcomed us were extremely Nice and were very welcoming and polite. Never ever felt rushed . They suggested some good stuff. We had some calamari,I had a bbq noodle bowl and my sweet boy had a big delicious bowl of pho. everything was delicious!
We arrived at a great time because it was getting very busy . But not overwhelming.. awesome place for Vietnamese food

The environment is very clean. Art work is beautiful. Service was kind and attentive. I got #1 pho soup, steak flank and meatballs it was delicious. Potstickers had a blend of crispy and steamed to them and they’re big which is very appealing, it did not disappoint when you take a bite, the meat was not shy and well cooked. Also the curtiousy of packing up the leftovers for you, made everything smoother. Well deserved 5 !

Please, ask for Angela, the best waitress ever. She’s always ready to suggest new dishes. She mentions the ingredients and describes flavors perfectly. The food is fresh and the servings are always super neat and perfect. All the staff is super welcoming. The place is small and it’s always packed around lunch but who cares when the food is great?

I’ve enjoyed the pho at SF Kitchen before, but my recent lunch experience was disappointing. I dined in for the lunch special because I wanted egg drop soup, which isn’t included with takeout. When I asked about the soup of the day, the server told me it was egg drop soup, which made me excited for my meal. However, the server later brought out hot and sour soup instead, which I don’t enjoy. Had I known, I would have ordered a different dish.

The honey garlic chicken was also underwhelming. While crispy on the outside, the breading inside was mushy from being reheated. The sauce tasted more like sweet and sour than honey garlic, leaving me to wonder if I even got the correct sauce. The fried rice lacked flavor, and the vegetables seemed dehydrated.

The server was polite and friendly, but the soup mix-up and underwhelming food made for a disappointing experience. I’ll stick with their pho next time or try the BBQ fried rice.
