We celebrated our anniversary here and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elevated and intentional. Without us mentioning a thing, our waiter surprised us with complimentary champagne to celebrate our anniversary and honestly, that gesture meant everything. So often you tell restaurants you’re celebrating something special and it gets overlooked, but here we genuinely felt seen and celebrated.

The service was warm, attentive, and thoughtful all night long. Our waiter went above and beyond and made the entire evening feel personal and special, not rushed or routine.

The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning. Visually gorgeous and hands down the best new addition to The High. The ambiance alone sets the tone for a perfect night out. The food was delicious from start to finish, and the drinks were pure perfection: balanced, flavorful, and beautifully crafted.

This place left such a lasting impression on us. An incredible dining experience, impeccable service, and a night we’ll always remember. We can’t wait to come back.

First time dining here, so we parked at Colony Square and walked to the restaurant. We used Google Maps and didn’t realize the restaurant is located right inside the High Museum of Art area. Parking around this area is always expensive and hectic, especially on weekends.

The place definitely has an “old money” aesthetic with velvet seating, curtains, and white tablecloths. Their logo and menu are also very well designed.

We made reservations in advance for a birthday dinner. Somehow, the receptionist took quite a while to find our reservation, and even after we were halfway inside, he stopped us again and asked us to wait while he double-checked. Aside from that small hiccup at the beginning, everything else was good.

The highlight of my experience was definitely our server, Luke. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, super friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. She made sure I had a good birthday experience by offering to remake my mocktail when she noticed I didn’t enjoy the honey syrup in it, even though I was too shy to ask for a change myself. We ordered:

– Sourdough and Cornbread: not complimentary, this is a menu item by itself, and it tasted good.
– Smoked oysters: The oysters were fresh with no shell fragments, and they tasted good.
– Anchovies & sherry butter: The anchovies were a bit too salty and sour for my taste, and the bread was slightly soggy instead of toasty and crisp. This dish didn’t suit my preference. If you’ve ever had Thai canned sardines in tomato sauce, the anchovies tasted similar, just without the tomato sauce.
– Steelhead trout: The fish itself was good, but I wasn’t a fan of the black-eyed pea sauce. The caviar was mixed in, so I couldn’t really taste it either. This was my second time having steelhead trout, and it really looks a lot like salmon.
– Roast chicken: A solid roast chicken, simple and well done.
– Chocolate mousse: The mousse itself was good, but it had za’atar on top, which tasted like black pepper to me. It gave the chocolate a slightly strange flavor, not bad, just not our preference. If we had known beforehand, we probably wouldn’t have ordered it.
– Lemon tart: I liked the meringue, but the tart filling was a bit too sour for me. The flavor itself was good; I’m just not very used to strongly lemon-forward desserts.

The savory food was good, but the desserts were a bit of a miss for us. Luke kindly offered to replace the dessert, but we were already planning to leave. Overall, it was a lovely experience. Highly recommended.

From the moment we walked into Elise, we knew it wasn’t your typical dining experience. We started with two great cocktails—the Minor Key and a vermouth cocktail—and I was especially excited to see their vermouth program.

Next up was the hamachi crudo and crispy vegetables, which was fresh and delicious. For the mains, we went with the tagliatelle with rabbit ragù and the risotto cacio e pepe. The risotto was a standout and instantly reminded me of the cacio e pepe we had in Rome.

The food at Elise is outstanding, but what really made the night special was the service. Anijah, our server and Maître d’, was fantastic and made the whole evening feel easy and memorable.

Had a really special experience here, this restaurant is fabulous Lyla Lila is one of my favorite restaurants, so hearing that they were opening a restaurant named Elise seemed too perfect to not try. The interior is minimalist and curated, it feels like a special and elevated place to dine. Really appreciated the waiter giving background on each dish on the menu, his recommendations were spot on and delicious! I really enjoyed the ricotta gnocchi, which is something I typically haven’t enjoyed at other restaurants. The flavor combinations were creative and made it both enjoyable and interesting to eat. My boyfriend had the tagliatelle, which he enjoyed! The chocolate mousse is a must get, and i need to go back for it soon! It had olive oil, salt, pepper which was an incredible combination.

10/10 Excellent Environment, atmosphere and service.
5/10 Parking – Finding a free parking is not easy. paid parking adding to the cost of dining up unless u stay or work in midtown.
7.5/10 Food – Same chef but I really like the food at Lyla better. More flavor, and adventurous. Food here feel more like a smaller portion of an upscale seafood restaurant or steak house. More safe – Delicious but safe.
7/10 – Pricing – I used to live in Chicago and Charlotte and not Atlanta, so I don’t know post pandemic pricing. However, I think the Entree pricing are a tiny bit too high. probably about $10 too high per dish.
9/10 on drinks – I tried non alcoholic drinks only but very tasty and innovative. price just right.
10/10 – Service and Environment – No question about this, clean and spacious. Polite and friendly. just top rated service.

Elise is a beautiful restaurant with great potential. The design of the restaurant is gorgeous and the atmosphere was great, though it was slightly loud once a big group came in. The waitress was friendly and helpful.

We ordered the tuna tartare, cucumbers, rabbit pasta, seafood pasta, and lemon tart for dessert. The tuna was unfortunately suuuper salty. The cucumbers were uniquely prepared and quite good. The pastas were good as well, though the seafood one was also very salty. The lemon tart was delicious for dessert! Overall good but could be improved for the price point. My only other complaint is that water service could’ve been more frequent.

A truly excellent dining experience. The ambience and service was warm and friendly and the food was outstanding. Omah, my server, and Brandon, the Maître D, truly made me feel at home. The seasonal Scottish trout they were serving was amazing and the pistachio gelato was to die for. If I’m ever back in Atlanta, I would surely return. It’s also an easy walk from the MARTA station nearby.

Had a wonderful experience at Elise… It is an absolutely beautiful space. Our server was top-notch, and everyone super pleasant. I started out with the Minor Key cocktail…delicious. Next was the charred cucumbers-not a favorite, and did not have an appetizing appearance:(. My friends got the tuna tartare, and everybody raved about it. For my main dish, I decided on the gnocchi-Which I never ever ever get, But after having the server, describe it, several of us decided to get it, and honestly, it was out of this world. For dessert, several of us ordered, and we passed them around… We all agreed that the chocolate mousse was outstanding. Our server stated that his favorite was the Star Anise, but It was not a favorite either. I will definitely go back at some point… Probably after going to the high or something at the ASO, But I want to try the lamb shank and the lemon tart-Just a beautiful relaxing space and an exceptional dinner… If I could give it four and three-quarter stars, I would.

Amazing experience all around – food, drinks, service, atmosphere are all amazing. My new dream date night is dinner at Elise & a night at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, or seeing something at the Alliance theater. Super excited to come back for lunch too, would be perfect for a nice work lunch or a treat before / after a High Museum visit! Huge shoutout to chef Craig & the whole team for creating such a lovely spot, we need places like this in Atlanta. Can’t wait to come back again soon for birthdays, holidays, anniversarys, and more!

David was our waiter and he was so accommodating! He worked with the bartender to create a delicious sweet cocktail with bourbon, apricot, vanilla, and other ingredients I can’t remember. We ate the burgers and they were easily the best burgers I’ve eaten ever! The meat was seasoned to perfection, the bun was toasted and soft, the cheese melted, the onions grilled, the lettuce fresh! It really didn’t need ketchup AND the fries were cut, seasoned and fried to perfection! And for 2 meals, it was very affordable! All of the staff were so kind and knowledgeable. Even the host opened the door for us as we departed! Drinks, meal, service, ambience… JUST LOVELY! I’ll definitely be back!
