Today I had a wonderful breakfast at The Little French Bakery this morning! The coffee was perfectly brewed, and the salmon and cream cheese omelette was absolutely fabulous—fluffy, fresh, and bursting with flavor. I also met Emma, who was incredibly nice and made the experience even more enjoyable with her warm and welcoming service. The cozy vibe and friendly staff make this place a must visit whenever you go to the Sunday markets. Highly recommend!

We ordered 3 Parisian baguettes today and they were too dam good!! I should have bought more so I could feed off it for the next few days as usual the bakes Boog’s were high quality (sadly out of stock for quite a few items by 11:30am) but I guess that’s to be expected of such a good bakery, will definitely be back soon!
Their service is wonderful and they genuinely care about the quality of their product ☺️

Heavenly, freshly baked, melt in your mouth, raisin swirls with perfect pastry crisp. Absolutely to die for, we had to go back for seconds and thirds . And the jam and custard Cronut is my new favourite the perfect indulgence. And chocolate beignets for my husband. Merci Emma. Now have a lovely new home in Bloomfield St Cleveland right at the crossing.

Hands down the best almond croissant I have ever tasted. This bakery gets it just right
Not too sweet, not too big, not too doughy but light, delicate and crisp. Just perfect! Merci.

Opening week, I popped in for a little mid morning snack. I was very happy with my choice of Madeleine’s and my mum loved her orange cake. Will be back to try more, including the bread, which was sold out!

My husband and I drove from Greenbank to the Rocklea markets today just to visit the Little French Bakery. I have food allergies and I am unable to eat eggs, dairy or wheat. The Little French Bakery makes the BEST vegan gluten free (French flour which does not affect people with a gluten allergy! Who knew!) croissants! It has been years since I have been able to indulge in croissants because of my allergies but these are worth the drive!

Everything is always on point. The raspberry vegan croissant despite it being vegan is buttery and delicious that says it all in my opinion. Order anything you won’t be disappointed. Open on sundays when the market is on too

Disappointed to find the same sourdough bread and pastries at Coles down the road for a fraction of the price. Not sure how you can call yourself a bakery when nothing is made fresh. Anyone can buy frozen food and bake in the oven.

If you drink soy: Dropped by for coffee whilst doing shopping . Ordered soy latte. Not sure if it was the beans or the coffee grinds being a little on the burnt side, but the flavour wasn’t great. Temperature was correct. Lovely staff (not owners from picture on google) and the French food looks amazingly good and authentic so I’d say this is their specialty, but I didn’t get the chance to try any. I think they could try a different grind/ make sure the grinds don’t get burnt, or even try a different blend of beans? I usually order this style of coffee and milk , so I was expecting less bitter. Today they used alternative dairy co milk brand for the soy, which is gluten free, and has cane sugar so I expected a slightly sweeter drink. Bonsoy is definitely a nice alternative, and may help with flavour of the coffee, uses tapioca syrup instead of cane sugar. That said I don’t think Bonsoy would get rid of burnt beans flavour so I’d be looking at whether it’s being burnt before milk is added first and then trying different bean blends. If I came back ( I don’t live here) I would probably tentatively order a smaller size just in case given how it tasted on this particular occasion. Staff very pleasant, and how lovely is it with their cute little blankets!
