I always like going to wine stores that have a diverse selection that challenges any notions that you “know” about wine.
This place was unpretentious, but I learned a lot just talking with the proprietor. Plus, the prices were below market rate at least to what I am used to.

Fantastic place! New to Beacon and love my wine, so this is a godsend. Told Sam my preferences and he knew EXACTLY the right direction to point me in. Did not have one bottle I didn’t love and have already picked up my second large order (and I haven’t been in the town a month yet!). Fabulous customer service, including quick delivery, great selection of wines within a wide price range; well laid out store, too, with everyone adhering to social distancing. Cannot speak more highly of it.

Excellent shop! Wide range of wine varieties & price. The design of the shop is organized well & it’s pretty big. I was so happy that they are open past 7pm! We spoke with the owner & learned they worked hard to get the city laws changed to extend the hours. Definitely check this place out!

I just keep coming back! Everyone who works the counter is very knowledgeable even when I ask odd questions or don’t know much about what I want to buy either. Helped me pick out many wonderful gifts and discover great new drinks! I got introduced to some wonderful whiskey and wine, and even the sake I bought on a recommendation whim was good! Will keep coming back.

I’ve been coming to the wine shop for a handful of years. Tim and Mei have a well curated selection of wines, spirits, and ciders (my favorite!). All of the staff have always been friendly, helpful, and informative when looking for a suggestion. Typically on the weekend they have wine tastings in the rear of the store which is nice to try something new. High recommend if you’re looking for a good bottle, many of which are local to NY.

Please visit this wine shop – my wife and I travel from the Philadelphia area each year to visit. Mei, Nicole and the entire team are experts and can provide valuable friendly advice based on the criteria that we give them and their recommendations could not be more spot on. They have such a varied selection, it is great fun just to wander and look at the labels. Not only do they have grapes and regions that everyone will know, but their off the beaten path selections are second to none. If you enjoy wine, like to try new and different offerings, or just like to talk wine with really, really nice people – a visit will be more than worth your time and I guarantee you will leave with at least a bottle or two, if not a case or two like we do!

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and the reason is simply due to superb customer service. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted by the owner and she asks me if I need help, she walks me around to offer suggestions and guide me in the right direction. The prices are better than you may think and very reasonable. The store is very clean, organized and well laid out for ease of shopping. They even do wine tastings in the back and hold other special events there. It’s really a nice experience when you’re someone like me who drinks wine and still has no clue after all these years I truly appreciate the individualized attention they give me and I’m always satisfied with my choice of wine….

Wonderful store with friendly staff. It’s the first place that I’ve seen organize their wines by body — either crisp, round or rich — rather than region or grape, which I think is far more helpful for most people.
