My wife introduced me to Sals as her job orders it all the time and wow is this place amazing! Everything is fresh and homemade the sandwiches are made to perfection the flavors and quality of everything from the fresh homemade mozzarella to salads they made everyday this deli might not only be one of the best on Long Island but ALL of New York it is that good everything I have eaten from here has been amazing and I am on a mission to try everything here you definitely need to try these guys out you will be wanting more!

I highly recommend Salvatore’s deli – Not only because of the food but the people; Tom and Matt are so super nice and you can tell they take pride in what they do. This is one of the cleanest and most organized delis I’ve ever been to. The fresh mozzarella made daily is unreal & so delicious! The pressed pastrami sandwich was AMAZING (my favorite) and the prosciutto & burrata was just as good. I’ll definitely be back!!

I’ve lived here for the last 5 yrs and NO ONE in Mineola or the surrounding area does sandwiches like these guys. There’s also no good Italian American delis near the area, so as soon as I heard Salvatore’s was coming, we were super excited.

I have been a customer since day 1. The owners Sal, Tommy, and Matt are fantastic individuals. They provided a welcoming and inviting atmosphere, which is the set up for the great food. From amazing home style Italian dishes to sandwiches to exotic salads, all of the food is amazing, prepared on premises and fresh. This is must go to if you are are in the area.
