We were in town from Chicago to Celebrate My Amazing sister’s 60th Birthday. We extended our trip and my fiancé kept on talking about gater bites that he had in New Orleans about 20 hrs ago and wanted to find a place that had it on the menu. So I googled places that had gator bites on the menu. I checked their online reviews and they had positive feedback. Great environment, clean, friendly, quick service. The food was good. We were not disappointed. It’s worth checking out. You won’t be disappointed.

Ordered large meal for three and would not recommend this restaurant. First order was beef nachos and cheese…the beef was included in a container and was disgusting…no flavor; didn’t taste like real meat. The second item was a patty melt, ordered medium..parts of the burger was practically raw…it was supposed to come with fries, but those weren’t included (didnt realize until had left and got home); also ordered a cup of chili…again, the meat looked and tasted like wet cat food; the last order was a Philly Cheese Steak with fries…seemed ok. Total price for this horrific meal was close to $50. Absolutely appalling…and a true shame since I live less than a few miles from the restaurant and was hoping it would be a great place. Also, the inside of the restaurant smelled like spilled beer. A health inspection is truly needed at this “restaurant”.

Broccoli cheese bites were good southern chicken and French dip all good. 2:45 up charge for mashed potatoes is uncalled for. We were there on a Friday yes busy but 45 minutes to get appetizer and side salad after ordering seemed ridiculous. I’ll try again during the week not on a weekend.

Gator Shack absolutely delivered a fantastic night out! The food was great, the drinks were cold, and the vibe was perfect. Naughty Bingo with Alexis was AMAZING — fun, hilarious, and totally the highlight of the night. She kept everyone laughing and involved from start to finish. If you’re looking for a place with great energy, friendly staff, and an unforgettable good time, Gator Shack is the spot. Can’t wait to come back for the next game night!

The food was a bit better than what you might find at a Flanagan’s or a Bru’s Room.. pool tables are nice and atmosphere overall is solid. Service was very fast and I’d recommend for anyone looking for a decent bar in westlake for the night.

Great bar with great people . Family bingo every Thursday also Naughty Bingo every other Saturday 21 & over hosted by Michelle. Also a great time . Cornhole tournament every Friday at 8 . Better bring your A Game ! Also live music that won’t blow your eardrums out .
