No greeting as you walk in, so we just sat down. You are given a menu. It’s a dive bar, so I didn’t dare ask for anything special. Bloody mary was really good and when I mentioned that, zero reaction. Alridy then. I will keep my compliments to myself. I seriously regret tipping $20 bucks. UGH
She did ask if the food was good though, once. We had the flatbread the night before at Foxy’s and whoever brought it by was really sweet, so we assumed the following day we would get the same service. Heck no.
Anyway, will say the food was good. But due to the ambiance and service, will not be returning. I mean I could just go get the same food somewhere else, with better service and actual good cocktails.

Love this place! Good food and people. Jenny the bartender is awesome! Very attentive and on top of her game all the time! Summer patio is the best, and pups are welcomed. If you haven’t tried Diamond Jim you should.

We hosted our holiday party at Diamond Jim’s this year, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. During the planning phase, Linda and her team were incredibly responsive and accommodating—they even opened for lunch specifically for our group, despite their usual 4 PM opening time. Coordinating the room and menu (including excellent vegetarian options) was a seamless process. On the day of the event, the staff greeted us warmly, and the food was served exactly on schedule and tasted delicious. Highly recommended for any corporate event!

WOWZA! Great freaking FOOD! I ordered the Jalapeno popper chicken sandwich . My wife got the Turkey, avocado wrap. Absolutely the best food we’ve had out in MONTHS. Great service, great music, phenomenal food. We will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu.

We’ve been going to Diamond Jim’s in Dundee a couple times a week, and honestly, it’s one of our favorite spots. The food is always great, and the soup is out of this world—definitely something we look forward to every time.
What really makes Diamond Jim’s special though are the people. Linda is hands-down our favorite bartender—she’s always so friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. The whole staff goes out of their way to make sure everyone has a good time, and it shows.
If you’re looking for a place with great food, cold drinks, and the kind of atmosphere where you feel like family, Diamond Jim’s is it. We’re so glad we found this gem in Dundee and can’t recommend it enough!

The food and drinks were good. The service was a bit slow when we first got there but that was probably due to the amount of people there due to the band. We did get service faster after a bit though. The mini mai tai picture was a very good size.

Wouldn’t accept a coupon I purchased from Entertainment and provided some lousy excuse. Burnt onion rings. Upcharge for every little thing. Not worth it. Much better options nearby.

The atmosphere was amazing, the band was great! SouthBound Band was playing there and they are always great. It was a beautiful summer night for country music. The drinks were good and the prices were reasonable. I like the flavor of the ceviche, the presentation was nice, it was just chopped too small of pieces and the serving size was small for the price. The male bartenders were attentive and always smiling and I like that. I will be returning again soon. If the weather is great it’s a nice place to visit.

I had the piregio dinner was which very good. That Cesar salad to start though was to die for!! I ate inside as it was cold….nice beer garder when it’s warm. $40 for two drinks dinner and tip.
