We hosted our Mamma Mia! themed rehearsal dinner at Wayland Hall back in October, and it was truly the rehearsal dinner of our dreams! The venue space is absolutely gorgeous. It’s modern, bright, aesthetic, and full of natural light. It was so easy to dress up and transform the space to fit our theme, so we brought in disco balls, as well as blue and pink flowers and decor, and it was absolutely perfect!
We had almost 60 people and still had more than enough space. Tara was our event coordinator, and this girl is GOOD! She is so detailed and efficient, and I genuinely felt like I could trust her with my life.
The chefs were also remarkable. Since we were doing a Mamma Mia! inspired dinner, we were dreaming of Greek food, and they helped us create a custom menu for the event. My guests are still texting me and raving about the food to this day… it truly left a lasting impression!
I am so happy we chose Wayland Hall for our rehearsal dinner. It was a night full of memories we will cherish forever, and I honestly wish I could relive it all over again! ✨

I do really like this place but I really wanted a sour style beer and they had no choices for me in the entire place. I was very surprised and disappointed. I also wasn’t very impressed with the food menu or options. The atmosphere was very nice and had plenty of areas to sit and hang out. The back bar was sectioned off and closed to the public for a private event. So it did make it a little bit more crowded for everyone else to sit, eat and chill. I do enjoy going here but I wish they had more options with beer as I don’t think they have a large variety available.

This is our go to place; we go here when we want dinner, when we have friends in town, when there’s an event, when we’re celebrating or if we’re just bored. The rotating menu means there’s always something new and interesting to try, and the beer and cocktails are amazing. My favorite thing is sitting on the patio in the summer while the sun is setting, the string lights are on and the firepits are going. The vibes are perfect

This is a great pregame or after game or any kind of Buffalo Bills backer event bar. The places got a huge outdoor area and a great indoor area tons of micro brews great food! We visited from out of town for the Thursday night game on September 19, 2025 when the bills played the Dolphins. On the day before the game we went here to see Ryan Fitzpatrick do a live streaming event for all the bills mafia fans. It was pandemonium! Fantastic fun. But even if this event wasn’t going on, I would come back to this bar. It was a great place with lots of great Buffalo Bills fans very friendly and fun.

It can get very busy on the weekends! Tried visiting a few months ago and couldn’t find a seat. Came back during the weekday and got a table right away, but it was still pretty busy. They have live music outside, fire pits, a wide selection of drinks, and ample space for events or weddings.
They have Chick-fil-A style chicken nuggets, which are pretty good. A great place to hang out with friends. If you have a larger group, I recommend getting there early to wait for a table. Especially on the weekends.

Definitely on the pricier side but this is a very charming place. Wings I got were some of the better ones I’ve had around Buffalo and they had a very large collection of brews that has something to please everyone. Service was also good and the venue is gorgeous. I wouldn’t go as far as calling it our “go-to” or favorite place around the 716 but we will definitely be back again in the future.

First things first…. The food at this place is amazing. The atmosphere is just wow! We had a rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding here. Tara was great to work with and the staff did an amazing job. Food, like I said was excellent, the bar was busy so that went well and the settings were amazing. They let us come in super early and set some things up as well. Thanks for showing us great hospitality Wayland. We will be back for that fried chicken next time we are in town.

We just had our wedding there this past weekend- for 150 people, in the hall space.
Our coordinator (Tara) went above and beyond to iron out all details, from the day we met her to being able to put into action our vision for the day of. Tara was present, attentive to detail and available to address any concern that arose. We cannot thank her and Robin enough for making our day everything we could have dreamed of, and more.
The chefs, waitstaff and bartenders did an incredible job ensuring the best food and drink was served, and it was all delicious! We chose to serve family style, everyone loved this aspect of it, the cocktails were superb!
The ambiance of the indoor and outdoor space was perfect- our vendors were easily able to communicate and coordinate with Tara in the months and days leading to, to ensure a smooth day for all!
Lastly, the space for us and our guests- from the bride and grooms suites in the second floor, to the private bar in the front, the hall space for our ceremony and dinner to the perfectly quant front outdoor space which had just the right amount of privacy and lighting, our guests spent as much time in that space as they did inside dancing to the music.

This place is absolutely amazing. The building is huge and beautiful, the food was phenomenal, and the service was fantastic. I couldn’t pick what I wanted because everything sounded so good. They had a huge selection of beer so I had to get a flight. All so good. The best part is that my husband is not a beer drinker so he got a cocktail and that was amazing too! Usually breweries struggle with cocktails but this was a serious high quality beverage. I live 30 minutes away from here but I will definitely be back as soon as possible. I’m telling everyone I know to come here.

Visiting town and decided to try out Wayland for lunch and a couple beers with a friend. We ate at the bar which is very nice and the whole area is very roomy, not too loud and great for conversation. While sitting at the bar it was apparent to both of us that the bartender didn’t want us to be there or couldn’t care less that we were.I could go on about that….If it wasn’t for a young guy named Kenny taking over our service we would have left and I would never visit again. Kenny saved the day and I would return because the place is really nice and the food very good, just as ordered. There are so many options out there for a meal, breweries/restaurants etc. Please don’t let your staff with attitude ruin the experience.
