Wish I found this gem sooner!
After moving to this area for two years and driving by this place multiple times, I finally decided to stop for quick dinner with my mom before the show.
This place is large enough to fit big parties. Yet, I’m surprised that it’s quiet for a dinner time. Service is quick. And staff members are prompt to work and able to answer helpful questions for a first timers.
The barbecue brisket is very tasty and tender. Since my mom wasn’t hungry, we just shared a plate of two meat: sliced brisket and chopped brisket. She doesn’t have good teeth as an 80 years old senior, but she said the meats are soft enough for her to chew. It’s so soft that I didn’t even have to use a knife.
And a bonus they serve free ice cream cone with a purchase of barbecue.
I really wish I found this place sooner. I would definitely be back and recommend this place to others.

Back at it twice on the same evening. After I left and told my kid about this place, she wants to eat here too. This time we order the 3 meat plate so we can try 0.5 hot link, 0.5 sausages, brisket, and turkey. They all really good. I normally don’t care for turkey, but they smoked it very juicy and perfect amount of flavor. Doesn’t even need the sauce and still delicious. My daughter said the food is yummy and juicy. The sides are flavorful and delicious. She got Mac and Cheese and Green bean.

I have eaten there couple of times and enjoy the food. However the food sucks. I order a 3 meat plate rib and chicken. I 4ribs and a breast for 23.00 dollars they wrong for that. They have lost my family business. Going to find somewhere else to eat on Friday and Sunday

Highly Recommended! I got the make your own bowl where you choose two boneless meats, two sides and choose if you want to add sour cream, cheese, and other toppings. I got the fried cabbage and the spicy bean salad for my sides then chopped brisket and the sausage for the meats. It was AMAZING. The environment was great (clean, open, fun) and the staff was super friendly and professional. They also have free soft serve ice cream to enjoy after your meal.

Good food but every now and then the meat and sides are a little too moist, like it’s been sitting a while covered in condensation… also the barbecue sauce should be relative to the portions of meat, I always have to order an extra just for a two meat plate.

As an ex manager of Soulmans some years ago, the training of the 2 women working was lacking or carelessness. They seemed to care more about their conversation than they did serving me. No, you should have full focus on your customer as they’re present and ordering.
I took my food to go. Got all the way back to my job (10 miles roughly) to sit down and eat only to discover that the pinto beans in my Soulbowl were cooked about 2/3 of the way. They’re still somewhat hard. My extra bbq sauce that I paid for was also not given to me along with no plastic ware provided. They make sure I give them every cent I owe before I can leave with my food but can’t make sure I’m given everything ordered.

Let me start off this review by saying that the sausage was AMAZING! Now on to the meat and potatoes of the review. This is a nice little BBQ place with a rustic vibe. I would say that the price doesn’t quite match the portion size, as it’s a little on the expensive side. Everything they had was delicious, except the pulled pork. The pulled pork was a little bland, which struck me as odd, because the Ribs, Brisket, and Sausage were flavored very nicely. The BBQ sauce was very good as well, but there was only one flavor. All in all, it was a great BBQ joint.

Had a company luncheon the other day and the food was off the charts good. From the brisket to the ham, sausage, turkey and chopped pork to all the sides! Never disappointed going to SoulMans Bbq! Love it!
